I hate Reggie, but this time he really is right. Currently digital downloads are not very practical, especially in distributing games. It not only takes a lot of time and a lot more money (think of all the servers that'll have to be running 24/7) and there's simply not enough space. Most people aren't going to shell out money for something that will need to have a massive HDD which could crap out at any second. Besides, most people prefer a hard copy that they keep and will be able to rely on...
To anyone who thinks this is wrong, it's dead on. This is the EXACT reason Square Enix has been having so much trouble lately. The thing istrying to cultivate a new user base in times like this is a really bad idea. Most people are going to stay on the same thing they've always known and loved. Either way, I too doubt it'll happen because now that Sony is starting to be more agressive I don't think they'll let it go anywhere
I support this and Global Warming is real (there's too many facts for it not to be), but I'll still be playing Killzone 2 during that time : P

I honestly think Killzone 2 still looks better. The other thing to remember though is this is just a tech demo. It's just like when Epic showed off Unreal Engine 3 and then only tiny parts of it got put into Gears 2. For all we know that tech demo used up half the space on the 360's disc. However the Cry Engine 3 and Guerilla's engine show a lot of promise for the PS3 since it can hold more on a disc.
Either way it can mean only good things.
The reason Betas are on 360 is because on 360 the gamers pay, but on PS3 te developers pay.
Basically you're paying to get a small taste of something that will continue to cost you, while PS3 owners wait a little extra (or play on PC) and then never have to worry about paying for it.
Does the article actually mean it was upgraded to 1 TB instead of GB? I mean, A 1 GB upgrade really isn't going to be that helpfu; : P

Another interesting thing about CoD is that the 360 version of WaW came with a special edition, and when CoD4 came out the PS3 was still fairly young. That would definitely lean gamers in the direction of the 360 for those games.

Aside from the Unreal Engines issues, I actually like that version a lot more. Obvously a ton of stuff that could've been really cool was cut out (like the bus being overturned, hopefully not in a cutscene though) and personally I thought it looked a lot brighter and the lighting was cool.
Course, the texture stuff sucks, but the thing you're all forgetting is that was an early build and that probably would've been ironed out later.

That's pretty darn good, especially since Sony didn't make a console themed on the game. In fact, it's kinda sad that the 360 console is selling so well and the PS3 is still leading on sales.
Indecently if I ever pick this game up, it'l be on 360. The visuals looked a lot better.
Do I really care how many people use it in the millions? No! I'd rather play a 32 or 60 player match WITH people than say that there are so many people using the service. Overall numbers mean nothing seeing as how you can't play with them all at once.

It's the best-looking racing game ever. That said, GT5 looks better than real life, and thus is out of the realm of "game"
