Depending on what it means by "Killer Insinct: Round One" I might just get this even though I already just purchased a year of gold last week.
Yo... you're kidding... right?
The point of his article wasn't to say it was or wasn't true. It was to say avoid sensationalist headlines, and that everthing is going to be ok. No matter how much space the X1 or PS4 OS take up from the RAM, it can always be fixed and optimized later via software updates.
Probably not...
Well this is really great to anyone who wants to turn the settings on their PS4 games all the way up... Oh wait, that's right devs are the only ones who should be concerned with specs.
I'll play it with ya man, I'm fairly experienced and a pretty good tutor.
Steam ID: Fireseed
I will be embroidering my Tank with as much 'MERICA as I can and screaming 'MERICA as I topple the city in the name of Democracy.
Yeah they completely fixed those problems, basically it takes the wavepatterns of your game sound and cancels it out in the Kinect's software so it can focus on whatever it wants. saw this demoed at E3 and theirs even a video of it working somewhere.
Yeah here it is, skip all it's other features and get to what I'm talking about at 3:55 http://youtu.be/bydLSVVuaRM
Good idea. Horrible execution. My biggest issue was with the 24 hr check in. It prevented friends of mine who are enlisted from buying one when they wanted to, and that is a horrible business decision. But I could see this being possible in a generation or 2. I'd welcome these changes if technology were far enough along to put a cheap chip in the console and allow it to connect from anywhere. If that could alleviate the 24 hr check in then I think the benefits of the system would far outw...
Alright well when I talked to one of the guys standing there, he was telling me that your command grows with you rank. He gave me an example of "Imagine toward the end of the game you control armies the size of that in Rome: Total War, but fight beside them like you do here." So I guess the game grows in scale as you progress. As for other types of gameplay (like stealth or stuff) he couldn't say. But as an avid RTS player that first part sounded bad ass to me.
As much as I'm looking forward to the PS4... this was a a terrible list.
So here I'll put mine down
1.) Naughty Dog
2.) inFamous
3.) PS+
4.) Keyoard and Mouse support
5.) Naughty Dog :)
I don't think we've seen anywhere near enough of this game to jump to conclusions.
Played it at E3 and I'll be honest the combat system is almost exactly like the Batman: Arkham series, and last time I checked the "mashing the X button" and "frantic pacing" in that seemed pretty alright with the masses...
But personally the game is a total blast to play, but hey maybe that's just cause I like the imagery of slashing throats and amputating limbs... who knows?
I've been watching competitive SC2 since it hit the scene and I STILL cannot get over how ridiculously high these guys APMs are. O_o
OH MY GOD IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Your studio alright? Did you guys actually allocate too much RAM to your game and now have to optimize it down? Or does this once again have nothing to do with end users?
Is it possible to get this guy to one bubble?
Most level headed and respectable thing I've read on this site in a long time.
I'd like to take this opportunity (even though only a fraction of N4G will read it) to make light of the even more important matter on hand. Now I mean this in the most sincere and hopefully non offensive way possible, but please stop commenting on developer affairs. I think it was very mature of you to admit to your fault, however in that you admit you are not aware of what really goes into the creation of games, and heavily base your information on derivatives of other devices.

Dude you're going DaVinci code for something that shouldn't matter to you to begin with. Buying a console isn't like buying a PC. With a PC it might matter cause it can influence your performance in game. But with a console you buy it, and you get what the devs give you. You have NO say over performance.
