The police raided his home under court order from SONY
Wait... no this article is wrong. Sony slapped him with the lawsuit, and then he released the tools.
I think it says alot.
I know narrow minded console shut ins like your self might have never heard of it but a lil game called Unreal Tournament 2004, kinda ruled the PC world for years, and still kinda does.
Ummmm I had more fun with it than any other console... soo apparently an objective opinion can be wrong
I think the Dreamcast has had the greatest software line up out of any console
Because it'd take alot more memory to hold all the games we WANT :D how bout pretty much the entire Dreamcast lineup? The Sega Dreamcast imo is the greatest console to this date :)
What you two obviously can't comprehend is the Sociological difference in time period brings.
Back then during those time the Tea Party was thought to be just a bunch of whiny bitches who wanted it they're way.
And I'm sure you've seen plenty of material showing how little whites thought of Civil Rights movement. (Assuming of course you have an iQ higher than that of a 5th grader)
Oh and have you ever heard of a little man named Ernesto Miranda? Yeah th...
Yeah I hate law breakers.
Let's go back and punish all those who ever broke the law.
Like all those black kids who sat in diners that clearly said whites only.
Or that bitch Rosa Parks.
And I cannot beleive those M F'ers in Boston got away with throwing all that tea....
I was all like who in their right mind, would be sayin shit like this? Then I looked at the author :|...
I can sell you a a steak, and make you sign a TOS that makes it so I can take the meat off the bone at any time. Doesn't make it right.
I can sell someone a computer, and make them sign a TOS that states that any time I can take a bat to their car.
I make the extreme point, because what I'm trying to say is that a TOS isn't a hall pass from committing a crime. And if you don't already understand what this GeoHot case is all about, it's not...
No, if you package a product with something, you CANNOT take it back!
The thing is though this is a relatively new situation, up until now when you buy a product it's yours and unless the manufacturer came to your house to say take a part off your product, he could not otherwise do so. With all consoles now being connected to the internet the manufacturer has somewhat of their foot in your door.
It's hard for people the majority of people to understand, becau...
A agree with joeorc
But also when M$ cut Xbox Live from the original console they compensated all its most recent users with free Xbox Live time and M$ points.
$ony on the other hand compensated it's users with nothing but a warning and a lawsuit for trying to regain functionality that was advertised and promised.
Idk one seems a lil better off than the other :\
I'm and avid PC, and 360 gamer. But because of VaLVEs support of the PS3, I'm gettin Portal 2 for my PS3 now :) I mean I get a console version my family and I can play while I get to keep version fro my PC and Mac :D
Ummmmm he mentioned nothing about consoles.... might wanna check yourself next time.
OMG! The author is so mentally deficient I want to slap him.
"The small size can however be explained easily if the game is using more shaders rather than textures, because the cars don't necessarily need to be textured, and a shader actually looks more natural."
Every game needs textures, shaders are only a layer on top of the texture.
Did anyone else notice that if you back through that article the people threatening the bans are either from "one of the biggest UK game retailers" or "CEO of a big game distribution company" they don't say any stores in particular which leads me to believe that this article is... bullshit.
Quick Answer: Yes
Long Answer: Yes but all games in development are so stop combing the footage
Um what are you talking about? The US and UK are the statistically slowest countries in terms of bandwidth.
Yeah that's what I've been thinking, I mean it's only logical.
Actually yeah Bungie said in an interview that they decide between telling the story of Reach or making a sequel to Halo 3 (Yes they even referenced the project as a "Halo 4"). So obviously their is lore to continue the Halo story.
Damn what a shame :\
But I kinda have a bone to pick with critics with this stand point.
How dare they not have any original ideas I mean you use weapons (Halo, and Call of Duty) to kill enemies (Uncharted) and level up your skills (Fable). The game is projected onto your TV (Killzone), and is controlled with a controller (Pong).
I think its also funny that the author writes at the end that the game uses "exploding propane tanks/barrels and collectables (...
