Does anyone know if it's cross platform with the Pc version?
Next gen is new hardware to open up experiences we weren't capable of before. Dead Rising was one of the first truly Next Gen games last generation because the hardware allowed for more characters on screen which was core to it's game play.
And yes the cloud is another very useful piece of next gen technology (even it's really just dedicated servers and that's been on pcs for a LONG time) it allows developers to create worlds in multiplayer that weren't po...
Yeah because no developer thus far can guarantee that you have it. Would be pretty sweet if I could call out squad commands in Rainbow Six, but to make the voice controls based on a fragmented population is a stupid choice. But if it were to come with it developers could implement it in new and exciting ways... it's this weird thing called "Next-Gen" but a lot of people think "Next-Gen" is slapping a share button on your controller and put more power in your box...
Reading the list...
"Far Cry Instincts: Predator"
Fuck you Xbox.
I have a trade insider secret... Sony didn't make the PS4 for you either. They did it for this weird thing called making money, strange I know. Same as Microsoft they changed policies cause they knew, get this... it would make them more money.
It comes with Kinect 2... I can't imagine it being cheaper tbh
@Good_News
Oh yeah and how did the D-Pad feel while playing?
I'm actually pretty excited about this little guy! Sure it plays mostly phone games but you're gonna start seeing games that indies want to get out there on a console but not deal with all the BS. I've got a small Unity powered game I'm working on ATM and I know I'll be putting it on Ouya.
Is that like the defacto uninformed go to statement? Greed? I mean I agree that it's utterly stupid Microsoft doesn't allow Indies on their platform as freely as PC, but come on let's be honest it's not greed...
It's just plain old stupidity.
I only played a few rounds and did alright, but as a game artist I just couldn't handle it. The game is honestly one of the most disgustingly bad designed games I've ever seen, so many clashing color schemes, no coherent information structure whatsoever, alt avatars that COMPLETELY change the look of the character and give no informed data on what the hero does. I mean for fucks sake one of Monkey Kings alt avatars (Queen of Fools) makes him a female jester... like seriously how is so...
Yeah I saw it... oh and I played it too, was fucking incredible. Got a point to make now?
Considering the rave praise it's received, the fact that I've played it and it was awesome, that it's already being lined up for big tournaments like EVO, the developers catering the game around to show everyone in an alpha state. Yeah considering all that... your BS doesn't hold up.
Killer Instinct. That is all.
Whichever one has Killer Instinct on the other end :D
Cannot wait! If this meets the Wii-U goal I will actually buy a Wii-U JUST to play this.
Hands down League is the best play to start, and if you want a more advanced experience move to Dota 2. However after 3 years of LoL I started playing Dota and went back to LoL after a few months... simply cause LoL is a more enjoyable game.
Oh and HoN... yeah don't play HoN
Sure you can make them think before they us a broken update but my example to counter this is TF2 has long been considered the greatest example of post launch support. It to this day has had over 360 updates since the game has come out. And we see what has happened as a result of the 360 editions update locking.
The main reason why I'm baffled by this is that it really has no clear advantage for Xbox to keep these policies. Like seriously NONE whatsoever! Microsoft may h...
If only they had identical servers....
(Meaning cross platform play)
I seriously can't wait for the X1 as a gamer, but as a game artist I seriously cannot imagine why they still have this whole pay per update thing.
