I don't know how any one has detractions... their fucking tons of footage of everyone playing it and ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT. How can you argue with that?
Broken in alpha... keep trying.
If your just some fanboy who's only had a passing glance at Killer Instinct and wants a point to harp on Microsoft about you can leave now.
However if you've been following the game closely and seeing the community reaction from the people who've played it, and the rave reviews from the alpha build they're demoing around in almost EVERY community event they can. Then you know Double Helix got their shit together and this is shaping up to not only be a worthy ...
And of course you have to take into account how many of their games got HD re releases and they jerk off at the thought of it.
@Chaostar
It's a big difference because because Twitch is far and wide the better streaming service. It's like if X1 got League of Legends, and PS4 got Heroes of Newerth. One is CLEARLY better and more popular than the other.
... You sunnavabitch.
That has nothing to do with what I'm talking about.
When you model a High Poly character you try and do whats called Retopologization which means you redo the geometry of a model, this is done to reduce the polycount and allow for more action on screen at once. You keep the details through technologies such as Normal maps.
The motion capture studio only effects the animation, not the modeling.

Wow. As a modeler... that's just lazy. Bet they just exported their sculpts from Zbrush without even bothering to retopologize them. Sure that says a lot about the hardware but that says even more about how lazy the artists are.
You do know that you can buy the full version with all the characters right? And that the version that you're describing is the demo. If you wanna play online as Sabrewulf and Sabrewulf alone, save yourself 60$ and just buy him. Personally I think the FTP model would suit fighting games very well. Being a long time LoL player, I'd love to see some of my favorite fighting games get new characters every week. Not sure why people are all up in arms over FTP, either they're looking fo...
New first party creation method, buy a studio that does relative shit, and higher key individuals. Plus everyone who's played it has had nothing but high praise. Especially the high tier fighting game pros.
Found myself literally screaming from pure excitement at the Killer Instinct trailer.
Not only what Neonninja said, but millions of LoL players are testament enough that F2P is a good way to go. I being one of them.
Cannot wait for this! Number one reason I'm buying an Xbox!
Oh this is looking better and better by the minute. Seriously, November can't come soon enough!
So let me get this straight... games... with their after launch patches, continued multiplayer server support. Are not a service. Ok just wanted to make sure.
Basically games ARE indeed a service and are based on a license system, buying the physical disc doesn't mean you can rip the art assets from it and use them in your game or some shit, the 60$ is a basic owner/operator license.
It's actually kinda weird to me, see I'm an animator and thusly work with plenty other animators and the like. We've dealt with modern age digital licensing for the longest time now (Try to buy a license of Maya and re sell... let me know how well that goes for you) so to see games finally adopt the individual licensing policies so late is just kind of natural. People are attached to the idea of them buying the physical and tangible product that it's now THEIR property an they...
Thanks for the info Testfire, did you get a press release exclusively or are you using your all powerful skills of assumption?
You wanna know why no other industry pushes used regulations as much as games need to? Because theirs no other revenue stream. You know why movie studios don't care if they're movies get sold used... because people are paying to see a movie THATS ALREADY BEEN IN THEATERS!
You know why the music industry could care less about used CDs? Cause most of their revenue comes from the merchandise and ticket sales of concerts.
Games only have a solid revenue f...
You really don't understand where the revenue stream from game sales go do you? Tell me, why should someone who pays for a used game which NONE of the money goes to the devs be allowed to play on the servers they host? In what way are they entitled to it?
I mean some people are such cheap skates that they actually believe saving 5$ is worth the sacrifice of a studio.
And another thing that really irks me is that we ALL know how disgustingly absurd the Ga...
Nah they only had it demoing on those makeshift arcade cabinets with the MadCats sticks. Would've liked to try KI with the D-Pad, but I did get a feel for the D-Pad when I tried Ryse and it feels great! A little more fluid than the one you see on the special edition 360 controllers with the oscillating D-Pad. :D
