Bravely Default for 3DS gets English release so at least we get one classic FF style game. It has job system, summons and everything.
It's a spiritual successor to FF 4 Heroes of Light for DS.

I did that. Didn't die as much as I did in Dark Souls since I knew what to expect and the gameplay was similar.

You have a point I admit. However one could argue that Nintendo's 1st party devs are not used to HD development so that's why we haven't gotten a big release yet.
Monolith's X and new Zelda should give us a look what Wii U is capable of. Of course PS4/One will be more capable but that's another story.

Never finished FFXIII. I did get past what was it Pulse? I don't remember. People can like it as much as they want but it didn't satisfy me one bit.
I don't get PC elitists who only play on PC and claim it's the best gaming platform ever. I've always played on Sony/Nintendo consoles and PC. They are all equivalent for me.

Wow! We Europeans get it earlier? That's unexpected but I'm not complaining.
They can make pretty good graphics for the Wii U. However there is only 2GB RAM (1GB for games) so it will never be on the same scale as PS4/One.
Considering how well PS3 games developed quality wise I'm sure we will get very nice games for Wii U in it's lifetime. I just hope sales will pick up so we can see more support.

Then don't. For the last month I've played: Last of Us, Pokemon, Xenoblade, Witcher 2, indies, FFXIV beta (PC). Next week I'll most likely play Civ V and the new Mario & Luigi for 3DS.
