I agree, timed exclusives are one thing but paying for a triple-A exclusive title may be a little too much money! =)
What the hell could it be - motion senseing? Whatever the case, I think beefing up their 2008 4th quarter line-up is a step in the right direction.
I've got to disagree with you big time!! Just because a game dosen't sell over 1 million copies doesn't mean they didn't sell well or didn't make a profit. Most RPGs on the 360 have been selling fine.
Lost Odyessy sold over 700,000
Mass Effect sold over 1.9 million
Oblivion sold over 2.4 million
Blue Dragon a over 500,000
Those look like okay numbers to me;)
The only exclusive RPG for PS3 (Folklore) only sold 180,000

I've got to agree with Fishy -- Nintendo is number one on that list ;) The video game industry is just super crazy right now! Nintendo has completely pnwed everyone both in the console and handheld markets.
I never thought that us as gamers would get to the point were it matters if something is in 720 or 660 or 715.....

The scans look fantastic! With Epic's track record, I'm sure this one will be awesome. Oh, and fanboys disagree all you want but I guarantee this will sell more and get better reviews than RFoM2;)
I agree with you -- I think the 360 will sell more than 40 million while the other two systems go on to sell over 100 million. I think that this time around the 360 has a lot more 3rd party support (which is major) than they had last generation.
The fact still remains, this is a guessing game! There's no telling what the future holds but I think that all 3 companies are doing very positive things to please customers and that's the only thing that matters to me.

Why? Because I think they'll need a hell of a lot more games that will support the new controller and I don't see them coming out with a lot of games at the beginning that will support motion sensing.

Everyones known of Ana for a while now and I haven't heard a single developer mention this as a disadvantage in developing games for PS3. We all know the systems are different in their own way but, to say it's the "Ultimate Mistake" is sort of.....fanboyish IMO. Either way, I truly like both systems for their own reasons =)

Last generation Xbox lacked RPGs but, this generation - they are truly making an effort to bring RPGs to their console. If you would have told me that at this point the 360 had more JRPGs than PS3 I would have laughed in your face. It's funny how things play out sometimes;)

This isn't a negative article, it's simply a couple of quick quotes by a PC developer stating that it's a little bit more difficult for them developing on PS3. You've got to give them credit for trying. There's no surprise here, everyone knows the PS3's architecture is "different" from the PC and 360?

I just finished Lost Odyssey and it was awesome! Playing Mass Effect then jumping on GTA, then MGS4;)

The real question isn't when or if they launch a console in 2011 -- the important thing to look at is, if they do launch a new one, will they contunie to support the 360. Sony still has PS2 support and it's still selling well...I think if M$ did the same thing, it wouldn't be too big a deal.
