If you buy a PS3, you will have games to play. In fact, you will probably have more games to choose from than the Xbox 360 line up. So this article title is a bit rediculous. Even without all the first party exclusive, I personally think that the PS3's BluRay + Free Online is more than enough to appeal to the mass. Adding the exclusives, it definately is now one step above the competitions (both consoles). I think Sony has came a very long way from 3 yrs ago.

myself dont care for towns that much; in most FF's or JRPGs, talking/walking around towns/townspeople is the most daunting part of the RPG, it's boring and yet u don't wanna miss anything so u go door to door in different room. Most of the time nothing worthwhile.

but you know Sony had Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank they needed to promote within the time frame, and I am sure other games too. I think sometimes it comes down to the publisher's ability to have enough budget to advertise so many games all at once. Their publishing side of the company may not have enough budget to do the publishing in the time frame, maybe that's why they handed it over? Idk.

I personally think the anime feel of JRPG like Final fantasy has its' own appeal, i dislike Western RPG like Oblivion, animation was crappy, character development sucked (main character do not talk), story really didn't appeal to me..some evil force coming over to take over the world, not much emotion for me there.
