Nippon Ichi's games sell like crap in the States, yet they have no problem bring it over again and again for their fans. Why can't sega do the same. NIS games required so much more localization due to japanese-centric jokes and anime references...
I cannot imagine these games be harder than NIS games to localize.

SCEJ has wholly acquired Nippon Ichi and Level-5 to work on a new RPG which that allows player to Play Create and Share their own RPGs, dungeons, special attacks, level elements, and puzzle elements.

PSP2 equivalent to the Ipod Touch (online capability, net play, PSN access, Music Store acess, Movie, ect)
And
PSP2 Phone equivlaent to the Iphone (which is basically Ipod Touch with the phone).
I think this business model should work, if they can simply the User Interface and ship out Dev kit to make Apps for it.
Another thing they should start doing is have people make Apps for the PS3. Ps3 with the App Store Would be crazy.

Best way to ensure creativity is to acquire Quantic Dreams. Sony should do acquire QD and the company that makes Buzz and Blue Toad Murder Files. They do fun stuff, diversify the portfolio.
Got killed like crazy for my rank level as i was playing the ranked server. Since i haven't played in such a long time, i forgot how to control all the vehicles and such.
But i booted it up again to confirm, indeed, strong community, dedicated server is key. There will always be ppl playing until they decided to pull the plug I think
Development cost is only part of the cost of getting a game to the hands of the consumers. It's like saying, you get a BMW for 40k, the car only cost 20k to make, the car maker is making 20k of profit. That's not how it works. Car dealer, shipping, assembly, sales, marketing, maintenance.
Same with games, Soft ware development cost, marketing, retailers, the 5 million copies, how many of those were sold on sales, and as Greatest Hit. The developers do not make 60 bucks a game..O...

This controller has LCD screen on it, and its touch sensitive and button layout changes depending on what developers want. So imagine using ur ipod touch as a controller. That's what it will resemble.
