Bingo. It becomes all you think about and it ends up consuming you and coloring the way you see the world around you. And now that your psyche is all screwed up, you start to see issues where in reality there really isn't any. Its something people can rarely detect in themselves and they live their whole lives trapped inside their own mind.
Good stuff DragonKnight. Wish there were a way to get prominent developers to see this.
Good on them! Its sad that its gotten to the point where devs lose their backbone over things like this. Im glad they stuck to their idea and didn't fall for the shame tactics.
To be fair, nobody knew it was being censored back then. If people had known things were being censored at the time, I think they would start a ruckus over it like they do now. Who knows, people probably DID have a problem with it back then. But the internet wasn't as popular as it was back then for people to voice their complaints.
Cant wait to play this tomorrow!!
Also I appreciate the honesty in the verdict.
Didn't want to say it but yeah I've noticed that too.
Huh? Isn't that what makes it good?
Set the expectations low for the 2016 continuation. Its 'watchable' but its hard to say it stand up with the older series. I'm enjoying my time with it at least. Consider watching the movie trilogy as well before jumping to the 2016 anime. There were some characters that make an appearance in the movies that weren't present in the old anime.
@GrimDragon
I did NOT know. Thanks for the info. :)
I suppose the people who bought No Mans Sky would care.
Y'know while I honestly wouldn't mind that, they don't HAVE to reach that. The whole idea is to just be able to create whatever the hell they want without caving to some crappy politically correct environment at the expense of their vision or style.
*vomits*
I would but that would require clicking on this garbage piece.
The game aint bad for the budget it got IMO. They made it work.
They really need to improve this musou engine. Its not very versatile. :/
Dont remember anyone ever saying these characters were damsels in distress (save for a certain youtube critic who cant complete her funded series). Been gaming for over 10 years and I've never seen them that way.
Transparency communication can do wonders when developing a game. Its a wonder devs dont use it. Then they wonder why fans get up in arms about things.
@NeonGeorg
Yes, I agree that developers should be respectful to whats sacred. But you make it sound as if developers go out of their way to offend people though. They don't. They are just telling the story they want to tell. There is never any malicious intent. Any malicious intent is assumed only by the person who looks at it. They cant go through game design walking on eggshells their entire career. Great games just wouldn't have the impact or be able to make that...
Bingo
Sweet Crying Devils no!
