Good intentions do not guarantee a good product. Their treatment of kevtris (via Atari Age forum, the guy they made only a verbal contract with to offload money in return for us of his FPGA cores) was shocking. Basically they ignored all his hardware/design/pricing ideas and concerns and instead began throwing everything but the kitchen sink at it to make some mythical "future-proof retro" thing. They then cancelled a skype meeting with him as "we're not even sure if we'...
Thanks and good luck.
A good tip is to not do what the OPTIONS screen tells you to do with brightness, turn it higher. The hole was almost invisible to me, were it not for the picture leaning on the floor I'd never have noticed it.
Septic, link to stream so we can watch on lunch break?
@Lev1903 "And within a year another game with the same value will come to the vault"
No, the only thing you are guaranteed to have in one year's time is an auto-renewal of your subscription thanks to your credit cards details behind held while it's active. EA have promised absolutely nothing concrete beyond the 4 games, you and other subscribers are going on blind faith and that alone.
That's entirely your call, of course. But other peop...
@Dwntwm "Moreover, Dragon Age and NFS will be added"
Receipts?
This is not fact.
You say you have both consoles so just subscribe on the xbox one. You have been very vocal about EA in the past, so what's with the made up pro-Access stuff? You don't feel all sweary about EA anymore?

@Eonjay Actually you have to be online *at all times* to play the Vault games of Access on xbox one. Anyone with a sub try it yourself - pull the plug and try to play one of the four games.
Now... remind me about that always online DRM and who it was that was so keen to subject us to it... Electronic Ahhhhhhh!
@Volkama "That would be brilliant imo."
Far from it. EA are already putting the regular old stuff we all expect behind the ...
@Gozer I remember talk that levelling was accelerated in the Alpha and it felt no different in the Beta to me.
The thing is, reaching level 20 is far from the pinnacle of where you take your character, it's merely the first step.
Once you reach 20 it's all about the gear you can loot to modify that character with light and XP earned goes towards earning motes of light, which can also be used as currency for the really juicy stuff from the Speaker or w...
Xbox 360 hardware is profitable. Xbox Live Gold earns lots of money. Royalties on software sales generates plenty of income.
Now offset all those and end up in the red by $400m.
That's one hell of a large hole brought about by xbox one.
"They can handle a few losses" is such an ignorant cop-out.
@lelo whoa, such denial.

@superman The majority of those costs is r&d. xbox one r&d costs are included in fy 13-14 results? Are you sure?
@BiggerBoss Last quarter, not last year.
@Passive The problem with midnight releases is why bother when you can order online and receive the game a whole day early in many cases? I think the last time a pre-order of mine didn't arrive at least 1 day early was Skyrim and that was because of an error on their part, it didn't even come day 1 (so I went out and bought it anyway!)
More OT, Destiny is doing everything right with its pre-orders - real incentives. Also having genuine limited/collector editions that ...
Latest Vita TV adverts say "coming in September" when Minecraft is shown towards the end.
Only for the next 37 days until it releases. Then it'll be 10 per hour.
Have fun!
The stats as a whole are really impressive, well over 3/4m at once on the Saturday for the moon.
I put around 40 hours into the Beta and probably not far short of that in the Alpha... if it was live now I'd still be playing, capped at 8 or not :)
Totally agree, as long as you meant "scrap" :)

tip: Your legs were right there, did you look down at all? Please don't tell me you're one of those guys who bought a panel TV with overscan enabled by default and hasn't disabled it... you need to see the bigger picture it seems, lol.
And the Hunter's thrown Knife? That's a special move that has a cooldow...
The story was fun, but the second and third times we played we decided not to bother with it and just explored instead. There's a hell of a lot of areas under ground on the moon! Some fairly low-level Ogres and a couple of level 12 Hallowed Knights that were fun to try to take down (easier with the pikes).
Only found 2 of the golden chests - anyone find more?
@uth11 A closed architecture is every bit as important as specs. PSVR devs know exactly what hardware is driving their game and can create accordingly. PC's myriad configurations and performance levels from set-up to set-up require a more brute-force approach.
That's a great leveller.
