If you a familiar w/ the consoles than you know how they will look. Xbox has shiny graphics and PS3 is darker. I prefer PS3 because you can tweak w/ the color saturation in your settings. So I geuss if I had to call it, I'd say PS3 by a hair.
The Getaway is like a much more mature version of GTA. I loved the first, the way they recreated London - traffic laws and all. For my money, this game had some of the best car chases.
If the game bears any resemblance to the "real time" trailer they showed a year ago then it should blow people away.

Not a big fan of open world games to begin with. They start out alright but they get old fast Assasins Creed/Hulk Ultimate Destruction/every Spiderman ever made, etc.

But yeah, when you look at games like uncharted and motorstorm - these games are graphical powerhouses, it isn't that far fetched that these shots are authentic. Those games came out early in the consoles life, just imagine what games will look like when the devs, who are still familiarizing themselves w/ the PS3 architecture, can unleash its full potential.
While these screenshots don't seem authentic at all, I gotta say I still love this game - it is one of the bright spots in the 360 catalogue for me.

This game was a huge letdown in the graphics department for me. The campaign mode also sucked. After playing this game for about a month I turned it in for store credit at gamestop while it was still valuable.

As far as online games go this one is about a 6 out of 10. Bullet lag is terrible! I load a clip into someone, and by the time I'm done reloading they finally die. I play COD4 all day and it never lags!

Oh yeah, and if you're reading this beans, Gears of War could have easily been done on PS3. They have levels in the MGO beta that are double the size of Gears maps with just as much texturing, 8 on 8 players.
That being said, I think there is a definite possibility of Gears3 coming to PS3 seeing as how Epic only signed a 2 game deal w/ MS.
