This is why waiting for the revised thinner version that Sony will be briniging out almost for sure before 2012 is completed is what I plan to do.
It's very hard to give each system "equal" love especially when you have multiple systems.
I currently spend most of my gaming on my PC than my PS3 or Xbox360 and Wii.
Their portable is windows 7 which will soon be windows 8 that will be cross platform on tablets, cellphones and desktop OS.
The dedicated hand held is a shrinking market and is only going to get smaller as more and more consumers are opting for tablets and cellphones for casual gaming
Have large HDD so you can do full install of all games...
This way you don't put stress on your optical drive and it will not matter if its a DVD or BR drive.
Run all games of the HDD.
SSD would be nice but that would be too costly
Price is the number one factor for sales of consoles and ESPECIALLY hand-helds as those are bought mostly by average consumers.
Then factor in a global recession still lingering on...not too many average consumers are going to immediately buy a handheld for $250+ when the larger console version is the same price and cheaper in some places.
You will see great initial sales of the Vita as hardcore/core/enthusiast buy the system. Once the early adopters purchase the Vi...
Crazy sales.
Best post of the day
Bloody hell more of these articles?
This all depends on your taste of games
Yet the Wii with all that "less power" sold more units than the PS3 and Xbox360 almost combined.
Moreover, look at the console history of gaming and what you will find is NOT ONE SINGLE CONSOLE SYSTEM that was deemed the most powerful for it's generation "won" its respective console generation. Not a SINGLE ONE.
Power is not what makes consumers buy consoles. It's a combination of GAMES and PRICE.

Shooters sell more than any other genre in general most of the time. This is why Sony and MS focus on them.
It's pure business.
They are in this for the long haul.
I assume because the Xbox360 sold better than what the Xbox1 did, MS will continue to try and please the Japanese market...Which is next to impossible for an American company unless you are Apple.
Regardless, they have the money to try and do this.
The PS3 wins IF you like those exclusives.
The Xbox360 wins IF you like their exclusives.
PC wins IF you like their exclusives. This is ALL subjective.
Some of the best games this year WERE in fact multi-platform games and as such played and looked better and were cheaper on the PC platform.
"now in 2011 you have UC3..."
Seems GOTY is a toss up between mostly Skirim, Batman, Portal 2 and Uncharted 3.
Simply the best game in 2011. Brilliant game
And you paid how much for that 60" TV? Over $1400? Then the cost of the PS3 to go with it?
Hmmm....For $1000 I can build a PC rig that has two Nvidia mid range cards running in SLI or AMD cards running games like BF3 and others at maximum.
For another $400 I can buy three 24" 1080P monitors and run eyefinity or Nvidia's three monitor setup for panoramic view gaming at resolutions that your PS3 could NEVER EVER achieve...

Don't say that on this site....Say its only possible on the PS3 and you will be fine LOL...You might actually get more bubbles. ;-)
Here we go folks.....
So Witcher 2 was not good?
Torchlight 2?
Dragon Age II?
Star Wars The Old Republic?
Skyword Sword? (it's a combination of action and RPG)
Darksouls?
Xenoblade Chronicles?
DeusX (yes it can be classified as an RPG)
All those games are FANTASTIC RPG's that came in 2001...So I have NO idea what you are talking about....
With a Avatar and name you use, it's hard to figure out WHY you even came into this Xbox thead....
"As previously reported, the second week sales of the PS Vita in Japan are now up and things are not looking good."
Guess why?
$250+ price tag+high cost of memory cards.
Once the early adopters and enthusiasts buy the system, sales will plummet until the price is lower for average consumers to pick up the system.
This is EXACTLY the same situation as the 3DS when it launched at $250. Early adopters bought it...then sales p...
