Most of that filesize is high quality video and audio.
The game isn't 100GB because it needs to be but because they don't have to use compression and downsampling.
Once you start doing that the size you end up with will surprise you.
I mean just look at all these old warez PC rips. Games would often be only 100MB instead of 700 just by taking out some video and using some compression wizardry.

What you're seeing here is the result of either post processing or a way too low polling rate. Good responsive controls are the core of any solid action game. Bringing a wavebird to a smash tourney is a surefire way to raise some eyebrows.

This is why you're getting FF games now.
I can see it happen, there's too many benefits for them.
1) Games run on any device, which means it's automatically more accessible so more people can play.
2) No more ports, ever. 1 platform (their servers).
3) Everyone can play together. Cross play is native.
4) Nobody can datamine, mod or pirate their games anymore. (unless you hack their servers I guess :p)
5) High graphic fidelity as long as your output device is good.
This is the kind of game that would sell really well if they decided to make a sequel. I hope they do and aren't blinded by the first games sales. The thing is relatively unknown titles that are really solid will get a cult following and inspire others to give the game a shot. The initial sales of a game need to be good, and the people that bought the first game and loved it would probably get it day one.
