So why is everybody sad that Poor Man's Lego is now in the hands of another company?
Sure, the one site where people go in-depth and review games in an unbiased fashion has to go away.
Mario Kart 8 got a 9.1 user score, so arguments about 'hating on AAA' is absolute bullshit.
Get real, it's getting low review scores for a reason.
Probably because people are getting fed up with shooters..
GOTY for me is still DKC: Tropical Freeze :)
Good challenge, great level design and an extraordinary soundtrack that sends shivers down my spine.. especially Funky Waters.
Pre-order cancelled.
I'm really pissed off at them for this shit.
I wanted to support them but of course there had to be some bullshit standing in the way of having something perfect.
Hope the game sells incredibly shitty in Europe so they can learn a lesson or two.
For the love of god shut the fuck up about graphics..
It really doesn't matter how a game looks in the end, and this looks like a generic driving sim to me, something we already have 100000 games of..
You mean the land of p2w f2p games with 'stamina' that allows you to maybe play 30 minutes a day.
Unless you of course steal daddy's credit card and pay for stamina recharging kits and overpowered gear.
Wish they kept that shit in Korea honestly, 99% of the KR games that came to the west are cancer.
Can we please get more stuff from Japan rather than these knockoff cliché games which require no skill whatsoever that all try to be WoW and give you carpa...
I'll still play it, but my expectations just aren't high having played Brawl.
It's not that I don't have faith in Sakurai, it's just that it's nearly impossible to trump a perfect game.
A game that is today officially an eSport.
A game that has received perfect 10's in review scores.
A game that was the best selling title on the entire GameCube platform.
A game that is still being played today despite it's releas...
1 Word: Nier.
Kinda surprising that hasn't been mentioned..
Nier for me.
The Wii was also a fast selling console.
It still ended up collecting dust in most people's homes.
Despite having made Brawl seven years later, Sakurai still considers Melee "the sharpest game in the series... it just felt really good to play." The franchise creator did lament that the game did have a problematic accessibility level, as he targeted it toward those "well-versed in videogames." More revealing was the following quote:
"There are three Smash Bros. games out now, but even if I ever had a chance at another one, I doubt we'll ever see...
Where's Nier?
Wii U eShop works fine here (Europe)
@Neonridr
The difference is in the architecture.
PowerPC smokes x86/x64 when it comes to comparisons of equal clock speeds.
Bigger numbers don't mean better results.
This is a copypasta from someone that writes emulators as homebrew applications for consoles:
I believe if you program only against one main CPU (like we do for pretty much most emus), you would find that the PS3/Xenon CPUs in practice are only about 20% faster than th...
It was already in development before the Wii U even launched.
It's not like Nintendo predicted poor Wii U sales after the massive success of Wii.
I'm sure they'd make it Wii U exclusive if they had a crystal ball.
I feel.. sad.
Any article about Nintendo's upcoming games and nobody bats an eye.
Talk about FULL HD on a more than decade old console and reach a temperature of 1050 on n4g.
Interesting article.
I sometimes question if I'm getting too old for videogames.
I don't feel pressure from society whatsoever, I just do what I like to do and really don't give a damn about the opinions of others.
The problem for me is the entertainment value of the games that have launched in the recent years.
Ever since last gen, games have become bland, uninspired and only focused on graphics to me.
Games seem to have lost their...
This Direct is probably going to be about DKC:TF which is about to come out.
We may see Dixie Kong being revealed as a playable character in Smash 4. Looking at the Brawl's game files, there's a folder called 'dixie' inside of the 'fighter' folder which holds character data, tho dixie's is empty.
Let's just pray they won't announce Cranky Kong for Smash 4 and be done with it, LOL.
I'm not going to defend the Wii U, Nintendo has made some pretty bad decisions regarding the specifications, launch software and especially marketing.
It deserves to be in the position it's currently in.
The Wii U was the only Nintendo console ever that I had no interest of getting on release.
They fucked up, simple as that.
People tend to compare the Wii U's sales to the GameCube, a console that was overshadowed by 2 other systems at the t...
May not actually be DLC though.
It's not uncommon to have content unlocked later on to keep people playing.
Just like this game I'm creating a private server of, the server is set up to allow a lvl30 cap, but there is content all the way up to lvl60 in the client.
It's just control to increase the longevity of the game.
