Yeah, it's funny how the tables have turned over the last couple of years, just checked out the N4G Hottest Games and it's been dominated by PS3 titles for the last couple of months now.

The 360 still dominates in a couple of genres, but it won't be too long before the PS3 just totally swamps the 360 in A1 quality titles in every genre. While microsoft struggles to decide where to put the extra data required to keep up with the PS3.
To me these screenshots look a little suss. I'm not sure they are genuine, looks like someone has just photoshopped some names over the heads of the characters.
The 360 is noisy because it is cheap and cheerful. MS have used the cheapest components known to man so that they manufacture the 360 at the cheapest possible price, without any regard the knock-on effect that it may have on their users. In this case crappy, cheap, noisy fans which labour constantly.

The 360 used established hardware and software dev kits, that had already been tried and tested for many years by PC game developers. So from day 1 developers were able to get the most out of the machine graphically, which is why we were all so impressed by it from the start.

Digital Distribution requires several things. First of all it requires games to distribute. Next it requires Hard Drives on all machines. Then it requires seriously quick broadband speeds.

Of course it matters. Where the 360 is about to hit a technological wall after just a few years, the PS3 will go on capable of showcasing amazing games long into it's ten year life cycle. Good old Microsoft has jumped the gun again, rushing out a system that's not only prone to meltdown, but also hits the wall far to early in it's life.
Home is a superb achievement, a technical masterpiece. I feel sorry for all those who don't understand. Home is and will be the future of gaming. Anyone who is not a part of it will soon be left behind.

It's probably just going to be a couple of new SKU's. Maybe a PS3 + PSP bundle package at a reduced price. Maybe it could actually be the PS3 price drop everyone is waiting for. Just watch it reign in the 360 if it is a significant price drop.
I hope it isn't GoW3 or Uncharted 2 release dates, surely they wouldn't make such a fuss about that.
You can clearly hear the crowd start to clap, just as the video finishes. I agree with you on the frame rate, the screen tearing is pretty bad, but they'll fix that; this is just preview code.
I'll reserve judgement until I see actual in-game footage.
