And also this is the reason why Sony has some of the best exclusives today.

Sony is willing to try the experimental and stay with it till it bears fruit once it is consistent with their vision.

Wow! Knowing Kratos is NOT going to die is huge story spoiler that imo would have severely impact the enjoyment of the story for me.

This post/story should be urgently removed. It isn’t fair to people who haven’t finished a game that is less than 6 months old.

Please remove.

No its the episode that was dirty. It was a pointless filler episode that was there simply to cash in on woke points.

Remembering that episode made me give you a downvote.

Still no open world games as detailed and as GTA V and RDR2.

I’m good with one game per generation if the quality far surpasses everyone else.

Let them take their time.

Why publishers don’t follow the Rockstar model is beyond me.

Take you best IPs, focus on the making them incredible and forget the mobile games and shovelware.

Imagine a Final Fantasy game with the depth and attention to detail as RDR2. That game would still be selling to this day.

I would have preferred a straight up remake for VII as well but you have to understand that the slow unraveling that the plot was going to be something different while still hitting the nostalgia point is something really resonated with a lot of people and they loved it.

Every "casual" I know who played the remake absolutely loved it because of the plot twist at the end. They are also the type of people not to comment about video games on the internet.

Good!

What? You don’t just reinterpret someone else’s work without crediting them. That fact that 11 people upvoted you is insane.

The game feels like it wants to preach to you instead of telling a story.

TLOU II is an astounding technical achievement and still the most impressive cinematic game 3 years later. But the story panders way to much to left wing identity politics ideals rather than simply be interested in telling a great story.

Fanboys are delusional. Sony is literally pumping out the best games in the industry for nearly a decade

I hate the fact that they are just buying games to take away from people instead of using their literal TRILLIONS to make new and exciting IPs and franchises. Their incompetence stinks.

521d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Exactly and buying a single exclusive game or even franchise is nothing like buying TWO entire publishers.

521d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

The problem @Asplundh is that it would feel cheap.

Even if the deal goes through Xbox hasn’t earned Crash/Spyro l etc yet.

What makes these games work is beloved characters in related worlds coming together.

Crash vs Masterchief would just be soulless and cheap as MS brand has no investment in the Crash brand.

Anyways, soulless and cheap is on brand for MS so it just might work.

N4G has more sophisticated gaming taste than almost every single media outlet who rated BOTW 10/10.

Keep on your tinfoil hat guys.

Massive PS fan here and BOTW blew away every expectation I ever had for the game.

It frequently resides at the top of greatest games of all times lists and honestly anyone without bias would clearly see why even if they don’t enjoy the game personally.

No.

Open ended gameplay allowing you to go where you want.

Deep physics system that interacts with all levels of gameplay.

Discovery as a core gameplay mechanic instead of a map filled with markers and errands.

That should be the new standard.

BOTW detractors really have me puzzled.

I get that everyone has an opinion but how can you not see the BOTW is objectively a leapfrog in open world design?

The physics based open world is filled with interactive objects creates phenomenal gameplay moments. Lightning strikes you if you wear metal or use a bow and arrow to set fire to grass and trees which then creates and updraft for the glider. Bomb arrows explode in hot areas. These are things not seen e...
