Of course you're not. But it's the #1 perspective in gaming. But here's the difference that I seem to find most times with FPS culture: They want to STOP the use/option of third-person. That is, they don't want people to have the option for some reason, citing immersion (which is a laughable reason). I've found them to be a selfish bunch overall. Third-person advocates don't seem to give a rat's ass if ALL people are included with a game, like GTA, Red Dead, Scroll...

Not just misguided, but it's anathema to culture as a whole. These people want to suppress things that they themselves admit to being against, and thus would choose to avoid it if it was made. That means they don't want it to exist for others, plain and simple. THAT is so god damn far from "justified."
Yep I'm counting on these selfless, kind souls on Nexus. Who knows, maybe someone will even be able to have actual 3rd-person gameplay. I THINK someone was able to do it for New Vegas, but not positive on that one.

and yet there are cutscenes, pause menu, where you see your avatar. And yet CD allows us the option to control our muppet in 3rd when we drive which looks fucking awesome. Corner-cutting to release the game on on time, nothing more. Having both perspectives would have added months, perhaps years more to development. Oh but don't allow these people to have the option! They must be denied 3rd-person gameplay even though you'd never choose to play that way.
