To the Modern Warfare brand only, if I recall.
Hope former IW wins the lawsuit... their property and it's not as it Activision couldn't afford to pay them the royalties they earned.
What's with all the disagrees? Good news for you folks, looking forward to getting my copy Friday morning :)
There's not much proof one can give, unless you really want to pick how efficiently the triangles are used on models.
But as an animator myself, IW's (MW2 and earlier) animations are some of the best I've seen, the replacements not holding a candle to their work. Likely due to many animators having resigned with the 2/3 of IW that left... Subjective of course, but I'm sure you'll find many agree.
While the new weapon sounds are fine, they&...
One of the reasons I don't wish to buy it. There's a huge amount of recycled assets and honestly, the new assets they added are of a way lower quality than previous games.
Hated that ad to be honest.
I'll consider listening to them when the outcome isn't completely different to what they said it would be.
wtf. Why even bother making an article about why one should be gotten over the other.
Replacing Hans Zimmer was a very bad idea. Guess his fee was increased considering MW2's success and Activision cheaped out... This honestly doesn't hold a candle to what MW2's soundtrack did.
Yeah, I'm disappointed too. Kinda failed to knock everyone off their feet...
bar = except
... except not many have really forgotten about it :P
@ATi_Elite
Not sure where you got those sales stats, but Crysis 2 sold three million in a three months where Crysis 1 sold one million in a three months ;) I hate the console port term too as development is simultaneous with CryEngine 3 but I won't get into that...
Bit arrogant to say: ""There's some stuff in here that's truly next-gen," Bach insisted. "A lot of tech stuff, Frostbite 2. Rendering, the lighting, destruction, to me I'm mesmerised no one else has been trying to do it."
Several others HAVE done similar stuff...
Saying the TV ad and MW3 launch trailer were launched at the same minute is inaccurate, YouTube says this to me for each trailer:
"Uploaded by Battlefield on 22 Oct 2011" - Battlefield 3 - TV Commercial (Live Action & Gameplay - Official)
"Uploaded by CALLOFDUTY on 21 Oct 2011" - Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Launch Trailer
Whereas the BF3 launch trailer (not TV ad) and MW3 launch trailer both have the same...
MW3 one was bad. BF3 TV trailer, eh. BF3 launch trailer, good but not amazing.
Well durr, of course it is :p Maybe because... it's been 6 years since this gen of consoles were released?
I'd disagree with it being assassinated. It looks good though scripted, though if the dev's re-assurances are anything to go by, it's all player choice and none of what's shown is necessary. Disagree with a lot of what the article is saying and it's being completely contradictory to what devs have said. Either way, it's going to be an interesting ride next year, that's for sure...
Fat lot of good that does in the beta when they can just register another account and download it :p
@Tachyon_Nova
Not really. Reviews are meant to be as objective as possible.
