... which is still SLI but on one card.
If he's any type of hero instead of just the protagonist, it'd be more of an anti-hero.
Because it's generally cheaper for to develop for and for anyone to put a game on.

Clicking disagree instantly makes someone the opposite of a mature adult? Great logic... either way, here's my reason I liked it. Because I enjoyed it. Rest can be filled in by what hundreds of people and reviewers have already done, seems like a waste of effort repeating what's already been said.
What the hell did I just read.
Going back to some of the above posts, I'm fairly confident that the price is adjusted based on the studio and type of license purchased. Not sure how the Nexuiz guys would have afforded it if it was at a flat rate of $1.2m ;)

I'm not referring to their chip manufacturing. I'm stating that if the GTX680 had come out four months later than the 7970 and didn't beat it in any positive way, it'd be very disappointing to the consumer and considered a fail on the part of Nvidia's R&D.
Four months does matter to the consumer, especially if they've been waiting years already for the next generation of GPUs. And imagine if they'd been holding off for a card that didn't ou...
Keep in account, time differences between the releases. August is the rumoured time period for GK110, eight months behind the 7970. It'd be seriously disappointing if GK104 (this card) didn't beat the 7970 since it's four months after the 7970's release already :p
Seems like a bit of a troll from the guy by creating a PC that matches up to the specs of the rumoured Steam box :P That's just what it is though, a normal PC.
And from what's been heard, is a mid-high end part that beats the 580 and 7950 and about matches the 7970 :( Still waiting for GK110 which will apparently take up to 4 months longer...
I didn't even realise the change had happened but looking at my titles, all 7 are available to download too. Sorry to the people who're having issues.
Got a 120hz monitor so I'd prefer to be getting 120fps :P Then as said above, 1440/1600p, 3D and multiple displays in games suck up a fair bit of juice.
Will be skipping Windows 8 I think, every second Microsoft OS release is shoddy anyway :P
I don't like the 2K textures pack myself. It's not just high-res textures that make a texture good but the art behind them. Textures essentially sourced from photos to straight ingame just doesn't cut it for me, personally.
Sigh, I don't know why everyone keeps on taking these for legit specs. Nvidia already confirmed they've dumped hotclocks (i.e different clocks between the shaders and the rest of the GPU) but the extended view of these specs show differing clocks still...
Pure epic :D I wish more devs supported modding in their games in such ways. Looking forward to some comparison shots on that texture pack.
Pleasantly surprised by the demo, didn't think it'd live up to the first but it's a pleasant change they've made.
I didn't like always having to buy more points than I actually needed for a purchase. I've never seen an MS points sale myself, either. Rewards, never knew about them and never entered any programs. Tax, is possible.
Other way around, shares dropped because of the game delay.
