Thanks bud.
I love how you went into detail there with certain aspects of the first game, regarding story points, gameplay moments within dialogue that was had between the characters etc. I agree with you, God of War 2018’s a phenomenal game. A masterpiece. One of the best games of all time. Also, I’m really sorry to hear you were so disappointed with Ragnarok in the way you were, that’s definitely gotta pull at the heartstrings (but not in a good way) in a way that just hu...
Just because they make a sequel, doesn’t mean it HAS to be better.”
Speaking for myself, when I hear a sequel is to a game I loved is being made I don’t expect or hope it’s better than the original. Why? Well, because it can be very difficult to capture that same magic that the first game offered, while also bringing a unique feel to this sequel. Finding that balance, definitely not easy. If I enjoy/love the sequel & it meets my expectations then I’m genuinely happy! I...
I can’t get upset at you for that. The older GoW games are so beloved for good reasons! I completely disagree. I personally got tired of those epic grand scale boss battles by the 3rd game. I love the first 2 games tho. Incredible games. GoW 3 had epic scale boss fights that still stun today, without question. But more from a visual standpoint for me, whereas the gameplay I am burnt out on, with the specific gameplay they offered.
I much prefer the newer games, in both sto...
@GhostScholar
Ummm, what in the world are you talking about? Lol. Foxtrot clearly understands “Art” and you’d realize that if you reread his comment.
Good answer! Hope you enjoy it!
Horizon: Burning Shores really is a stunning sight, taking to the sky’s, into the clouds/storms is a sight to behold! A great visual showcase from GG’s as usual, giving us a sample of Horizon 3. I cannot imagine how that’ll look being solely PZ5 exclusive and no doubt pushing PS5 to its limits.
Man, I’d also love to see them use the Decima engine on a linear game, I try to imagine the visual results, they’d be astounding I imagine.
When we take a deep, objective look into what made the God of War soft reboot such a unique gaming experience, we’ll find that most of the things that Santa Monica Studio did right in that game are more or less absent from God of War Ragnarok. There’s a reason why most players have fonder memories of the PlayStation 4 title instead of the latest one – and it has nothing to do with the PlayStation 5’s infamous scarcity.“
For one, God of War 2018 was the much NEEDED refresh/r...
Agreed.
😂😂 I respect the honesty.

Exactly. Thank you for bringing that up, because those are important points. More mandatory classes would’ve been appreciated, not just for learning spells, but just for more character development within the story, which could’ve benefited not just our character and the characters in our respected house, but also from students/friends from the other houses that you only meet a select few times.
Yeah, a definite disconnect within what the story t...
Well said. And especially a port from Sony of one of their most beloved games of all time! And from a franchise that they know is highly respected with 2 successful games. I mean, The Last of Us, which released back in 2013, how that game shocked and impacted the gaming industry was special. And for the PC port of The PS5 version to be released in the state that it did, absolutely unacceptable. A slap in the face to gamers.
And as you said, expectations being a very person...
Yes! The linear approach just serves that game so much better. And the art style was pretty fascinating, I think.
Why do you care if someone might get upset, and mention that they don’t agree with the lots of disappointing games that you’ve played in the past 20 years? It’s your opinion. Share it. Not everyone will agree with you, and that’s okay.
I personally found Hogwarts Legacy to be a BIG disappointment this year. Why? Well, apart from the studio absolutely nailing the “Look” of Hogwarts (inside the castle, along with other outdoor areas such as Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest an...
Yeah, the expanded map/character switching and just knowing it’s a TRUE current gen ONLY exclusive will offer an all around smoother, tighter and more amazing game for players!
And yeah, I get it if someone’s not into Spider-Man, the game is super fun, swinging through the city is really amazing in general. And as you said, it’s just too well done, it’ll be so well polished.
I know plenty who disagree with you on that, buddy.
Spider-Man 2 is coming (and if you aren’t a fan or don’t care, that’s fine) but that games going to be HUGE!
Good golly, they are ugly indeed. Before I even read the title headline I saw the picture and thought “Hmmm, this is an interesting looking Sims game.” And well, than I saw everything else that followed lol.
Dang, 2K…
Seriously, they melt🤯 that game, ahead of its time.
I’m so glad to see Days Gone get some recognition, because it absolutely is a BEAUTIFUL looking game, and in other times, downright incredible, with its snow forming on the ground over time and the storms coming in with the winds blowing the trees is a sight to behold! I remember at one point I was using photo mode and snapped this photo (I swear) using the filters and other effects the shot I captured looked so realistic, it was remarkable. It was of a leaf 🍁 (others were around it) ...
According to translations on Twitter, Gustavo mentioned that in the “new version”, you can actually walk up to his in-game character and request him to play different songs. But then he stopped and said he couldn’t say anything further.” That’s cool.
In terms of visuals, I mean, Part 2 on PS4 as most of us know already looks absolutely incredible, from character models, lighting, grass/foliage, gore, audio presentation and add on the marvel that’s motion matching tech &...
