Agree 100%. Jesse and Dina struggled with their codependent relationship with a certain toxic personality. They aren’t that interesting on their own.
Or for $100 more, you can get a more powerful and future proof console that also plays PlayStation exclusives.
The Series S packs a punch for a causal gamer who for some reason doesn’t like Nintendo games.
The Series S is perfect for anyone with a 1080p TV and no ability to upgrade anytime in the next 7 years.
If you have more than $300 and less than $400, and for some reason you gave to buy a new console, your only choice is the Xbox Series S.
Honestly, if you don’t want to buy a Series X, why not just keep playing the console you already have?...
It’s like if I order a sandwich and it tasted like shit, i don’t want the waiter to tell me to I should keep eating it because it’s a shit sandwich and it is supposed to taste like shit.
Microsoft didn’t bet big enough. Demand for both new consoles is high and all models sell out immediately. If Microsoft had made more, they would have sold more. And now because of the global chip shortage, they can’t make more.
For a single person, I’m sure rest mode is not much of a problem. But in a family, that’s just not workable. As a practical matter, Returnal needs save points.
“We wanted to tell you which console sold best but that would be unfair. So now you’ll never know!”
So Microsoft really is giving up on Xbox Live Gold.
I do remember headline about the length of The Order 1886. (The gameplay was the real issue.) Game journalism has come a long way since then. The campaign in Titanfall 2 received a lot of love and it is only about 5 hours.
Agree 100%.The games media and gamers themselves fell into the trap of quantity over quality. When all you care about is $/hour played, developers will pad their games.
Consumer demand for both consoles is so great that the only limit to growth is how fast the companies can make them. I’m sure Once value meets demand, will see the PS5 break away this gen like it did last gen.
Because there will always be bargain shoppers buying the cheapest option. Usually, the cheapest option is the old console. Microsoft and Sony have sold cheaper, suckier versions of their consoles before. Even Nintendo has the Switch Lite.
I would love a Skyrim style RPG where you get to make your own character and power set. So I was lukewarm on another RPG with a pre-made protagonist. Then I saw player character whipping through the air like Spider-Man on steroids. Fun is fun. I’m in.
You buying an expansion card is not a universal solution for games taking up too much space on Xbox. If you want to buy an expansion card for everyone, then we might be on to something.
As a successor to the Gameboy, DS, 3DS, don’t be surprised to see the Switch sell as well as or better than the older handhelds.
That’s what EA said about Anthem. They want to continue selling the game and season passes, so of course they’ll say they won’t quit on the game. As a consumer, I want proof.
That’s what we said about the proprietary hard drives for the Xbox 360. (They were never cheaper.)
Good for your for using Best Buy gift cards for Microsoft’s overpriced, proprietary expansion, but how does that make it any better or cheaper for anyone else?
The apologetic tone of the industry pieces about Outriders is a good indication that this game will die a quick death.
It was never worth it. I’ve always leaned toward the game of the year editions with all the DLC included.
