It looks like Borderlands, but without the humor and fast paced, fun gameplay. Definite pass.
MS had nothing but non-gameplay trailers and shooter after boring shooter. Sony had new IP, fresh ideas, gameplay footage for several games, and a ton of indie support.
Sony had a better showing, hands down.
I don't think they were ever "uphill" to begin with.
Looks like it suffers the same problem as LA Noire: its a mystery game that flat out tells you what/where the clues are. Shame.
Loved Jak & Daxter and The Last of Us, but Uncharted always bored the hell out of me. Never understood the love for it.
This showcases everything wrong with the current gaming industry. A subpar, poorly reviewed generic, Murica f-yeah shooter gets turned into a mega-franchise by a company more concerned about graphics than gameplay or story. I hope this bombs, but we all know it'll sell millions.
The argument here is little more than "yeah it was terrible, but at least it had an identity".
What kind of garbage is that?
Why did Homefront need a sequel? It was an average FPS with a laughably awful story from a company that went bankrupt. This game represents everything that's wrong with the current gaming industry.
Crytek: Pretty graphics, mediocre gameplay, flat out terrible story.
Spec Ops The Line wouldn't have happened if the devs made a "fun" game. Just saying.
She's just the motion capture actress as far as I know.
Keep that Sonic cycle turning, Sega.
Do we really need more bland shooters? Are they even trying anymore? Its just "take the same game but put it in a different location and call it a day".
So far I don't see anything pointing to this game being anymore than a standard cover based shooter.
They needed that time to work on the 5 different collector's editions. And to announce that this is already being turned into a mega franchise.
Because the market doesn't have enough half baked first person shooters, obviously.
I'm mad. This is what video games have become; bland annual shooters watered down to appeal to a mass audience.
Let's hope its better than Child of Light
Because the movie wasn't bad enough
There's nothing "different" about The Order. Its a generic cover shooter with a generic story that thinks its a movie.
