The Order 1886 was slammed because it wasn't a very good game.
I hate when developers try to make the protagonist "an extension of the player". That never works, in fact it only does the opposite. I connect with characters that speak a lot, because that's what human beings do, they talk. They don't sit there with a blank face and not communicate with people having a conversation with them.
This is almost as bad as the theory that Chico is Quiet. It has about as much evidence at any rate.
No one said this will be the last MGS, it'll just be the last MGS Kojima will work on.
I think I actually believe him this time. He's already working on another game, Silent Hills, and he's worked on other non MGS games in the past. I think this might be the last one for him, for real this time.
Episodic gaming, ladies and gentlemen.
Stunning revelation. It's a bit of a controversial one though, don't know how many will agree with that.
What nonsense are you babbling on about?
You have got to be kidding me, right? Regardless of what your opinion of The Order is, how can you possibly say "average is not a bad thing"? That doesn't make sense, I just... I can't comprehend that phrase. I can't.
No, full stop.
YOU DIDN'T LIKE A GAME I DID! I'M GOING TO START CRYING AND HAVING A FIT NOW AND DOWNVOTE YOUR BLOG AND REPORT YOU!
This website is full of children.
Some gamers want games to fail for the same reason some gamers want games to succeed despite an overwhelming wave of negative reviews.
Just because you disagree with a review of a game doesn't make gaming sites "out of touch".
What does that even mean?
"They don't like the game I like! They're liars, LIARS I TELL YOU! They actually love the game secretly, but don't want to tell anyone because they love the game. THEY LOVE IT!"
I don't understand why people are so quick to defend a game they haven't even played. The kind of blind defending of The Order has me very worried for the future of gaming.
Yes, a person can only call them self a journalist if they agree with you. That's right.
I love it when the world meltdowns because a bunch of babies get upset that a handful of people don't like their games.
Not to mention taking people's Kickstarter money and making a half finished, micro-transaction filled game. Apparently his studio is working on a new game as well, using that Kickstarter money.
"A game I like is getting bad reviews, that means everyone is an idiot and a liar and are wrong. I'm way better than they are. 11/10 #EthicalJournalism."
Everybody on the internet calls everything clickbait. That term doesn't even mean anything anymore.
