I'm just glad GTA hasn't turned into an annual rehash series. It was in such danger of that. Good to see them be rewarded for spending years to craft a gigantic and insanely detailed world. Hope they keep it up.
External power brick is just terrible and lazy design. Naming that as a positive is when I shut this crap off.
The VR crap that's been around for decades is the 80s cell phone. Seen presentations that looked cool for years and years but it was all overpriced and/or crap. Oculus finally does VR right at a reasonable price. It's more like the Nokia brick phones of the early 2000s.
I would be surprised if they don't release a disc-less redesign in a few years. Maybe not the only version but at least as a cheaper option to encourage the transition to a digital only DRM nightmare future they want.
Well that list is just terrible. There were some decent sales this week though.
So the battery they should have included to begin with.
This may win as the most delusional statement of the year.

It's fine that they're making another but I really hope it's not out next year or something. Need to stretch it out or this series will be burned out fast.
Especially with 1313 being Lucasarts most promising game in years. Wouldn't have care much without watching that trailer.
Really? I found that demo to be a pathetic joke. The Playroom stuff with PS4's camera was quite impressive if just a little amusing demo. Shows great potential. I'm sure the Kinect is just as capable if not more so but there's absolutely nothing to show it off.
Yeah I can't wait to see in person the kind of difference. Just hope Nvidia isn't stupid and tries to overcharge monitor makers for it. They should damn near give it away to get ubiquitous support and boost GPU sales.
I wish them the best in taking a piece out of the Windows monopoly. I like the idea in general, but at least personally there's just no purpose to the system whatsoever.
I dunno I think it's a fine idea for many games. We've gotten to the point where making new games is prohibitively expensive and risky. I don't have any problem with them spending a more minimal effort to remaster good games. The market on PS3/360 is so flooded now that plenty of people overlooked Tomb Raider who would have loved it.
Cloud-based.... I really hate these meaningless buzz-word marketing terms.
The hardware architecture is too different to just run the games and not near powerful enough for emulation. Incorporating the old hardware would increase the system cost massively. People rejected the PS3 at $599 and that's exactly what these new systems would cost. Personally I would love an all in one Playstation or Xbox but it's obviously not worth it for them to design a completely different model. It's perfectly understandable and I don't see the point in complaining ab...
Game has a freaking awesome concept. Only problem I see is actually filling the world with meaningful content. That's what you need more developers for. Either a giant team or good creation tools and a dedicated userbase. Just can't procedurally generate an in depth universe with characters and story.
Thank god they're finally combining the eShop. I was kinda shocked when I found no way to access my 3DS bought games on the Wii U. Nintendo is just so behind the times when it comes to a proper online network.
My guess is the wrote off the MSRP of those games. Probably like 50 million in tax deduction.
They're something I have no practical use for. Yet I hope they're successful and do damage to the DirectX monopoly on PC gaming. If MS is going to force garbage like Metro in Windows then I would love to make the Linux jump (without losing games).
