Yep. Companies always stupidly underestimate the sales they can get from a top game on new consoles. There's about 10 million of the most dedicated gamers with systems starved for games. Releasing it into the flooded market of 360/PS3 isn't going to sell any more units than expected or gain any more noteriety for the franchise. Being the one of the best games and ONLY game of it's type on new consoles would have. Personally I'll just be waiting until it's on super cheap sa...
Just paid them to not put it on Playstation.
They just need to release the damn thing already. There's really no need for specific Oculus games until it has sold a bunch. Existing games supporting VR is enough imo.
Just shut up and take my money!
I appreciate waiting until it's perfected for a retail version but they've taken way too long to get the Oculus to market. I mean if the Sony one comes out around the same time there won't be nearly as big of an impact.
Call of Duty "sale".
Owning both systems the PS4 interface is clearly superior. Much faster, easier to use, and more functional. 360 took a step backwards with the tile based GUI and Xbox One has gone even further backwards. With all the hype over voice commands and multimedia functions you would think at least the XBone interface would have been far better.
I don't think any of the downloadable full retail games hits much over 20GB. And those are the long single player campaigns with cinematics.
Xbox One install is also reportedly 40GB. Without a single player campaign you have just got to be fucking kidding. With any decent optimization no online only shooter should pass 10GB.
Sadly whether or not they do a remake has a lot to do with how easy it would be. FFX was already a PS2 era game so it just needed better textures and character models. Anything from the PS1 era really needs to be redone from the ground up.
I think this calls for the classic - No shit, Sherlock.
Rarely ever go for the %100. Stupid collectibles and chest are hard to ignore but imo they really detract from the overall experience.
Well at least you can upgrade the HDD and actually manage data on PS4.
Anti-aliasing and the quality of the scaling makes a big difference as well. The thing is PS4 has a much more powerful GPU overall and the games will look better under every circumstance.
With the XBO at $500 and PS4 at $400 there's really no argument here. PS4 is a better console in every way that matters. Xbox One will have a few decent exclusives but for everyone but the most die hard MS fan, PS4 is the clear choice.
Probably Farcry3 for XBO/PS4.
I wouldn't recommend anyone get one with just 8GB internal.
Nice. They'd be fools not to bring it overseas. With a new console starving for games they're guaranteed a few hundred thousand sales. Easily worth translation costs.
This headline is a BS tease. I don't see how a port of a Lego game is a "major release". It's on every other damn platform.
If anything they've actively sabotaged PC gaming.
Well they don't have much time left to keep milking until this fad's teets run dry.
You mean the game that's also on 360 and runs at 792p? Yep it shows off Xbox One's mediocre technology.
