It sold 1.35 million units compared to the original's 2.75. It got good reviews and actually did pretty well. Resident Evil 4, which introduced the more actiony parts, but kept the creepy tone and horror, sold almost 7.5 million units. The problem is Capcom saw how much more money RE 4 made and decided 'F*ck the balance of action and horror, let's go full action.' The other problem is that method worked, as RE 5 sold almost 8 million units.

Is not a dev and almost universally disliked.

Has gained some infamy for Colonial Marines and their statement was not on specs. They had also stated that it was powerful and simply couldn't think of a natural reason to put BL2 on the Wii U.

Is a dev that is known for having very buggy games and problems with ports (ask many PS3 Skyrim owners how good it was at launch).

W101 and Bayonetta 2.
I like NIS, they know their fanbase and do their best to please them.

Name them.
>Dev studio that's in Nintendo's pocket
So I can't take Naughty Dog's or Santa Monica Studios' word about the PS4?
No. Pokemon is, at it's core, a portable game. Spin-offs may be on consoles but mainline is always portable. Then there's the fact that Game Freak develops exclusively for Nintendo.
That downloadable game looks better than some full-blown retail games.
Suda51xKamiya Hideki
They can't, Sony owns the rights.
I like how everyone is pretending it's about the score the game got when it's about how the game was called misogynistic and got docked for it. It's even in the summary under the title for crying out loud.
This has nothing to do with the Wii U. Quit spamming already.
It seems to be more about him/her calling the game misogynistic than the score, which was actually good.
>marred by a script that presents despicable characters as the protagonists
...Yes, that's GTA for you. You aren't a good person. You do both good things and bad things. Protagonist doesn't mean 'hero', it means main character. That's why the term Villain Protagonist is a thing. It's not supposed to make you seem like a good guy.
I have to agree. So long as the specs are better than the previous gen I don't really care about them too much. If I want raw power and specs I'd play the game on my PC, if I'm playing on consoles it's usually because of the exclusives or I'm playing with a friend that doesn't have a good PC.
It means the basic or regular game with no DLC or extras.
It's one of the most important parts. If I was to spend money monthly on a game it needs to have something to keep me there. If I make it to end game and there's nothing to do there's little reason for me to keep paying. I wouldn't say it's everything, however. I usually enjoy getting there as well.
And who says that 'mature adults' don't also play on Nintendo systems? My younger brother is 16 now and, while not an adult, he is more mature than most adults I meet playing games. So what does he spend most of his time on? Either playing on his PC he built or his 3DS. I have all 3 current gen consoles, a 3DS, and a PC. I spend most of my time playing on my 3DS. Something as vague as 'mature' doesn't really enter the equation when it comes to what games people like as...
Blame the other companies for refusing to touch Bayonetta 2. If they would have taken the initiative it could have been a PS4/X1 exclusive instead of a Wii U exclusive. Don't get mad at Nintendo for doing what people told them to do (take more risks and get more game support).
I'm a mature adult and I enjoy many of Nintendo's games, both the 'mature' and 'kiddy' ones. What, exactly, are you implying?
While having a preference is Ok, simply going 'X IS BETTER THAN Y' with almost no factual basis is silly. Story is mostly subjective, frame rates only really dropped in Blighttown and the backstab was just as OP, which was the point of a backstab (do massive damage).
