Holy crap, how far up Microsoft's backside is Linus Blomberg.

Have to admit it's not looking good for the Wii U. It's selling less than the Vita which itself was declared DOA by nearly everybody.

That being said it's still too early to know who will do well with the coming generation, it only takes a single popular gimmick to turn things around and come the end of the year it's near enough a clean slate, as long as you ignore the Wii U slow start and low specs, the Xbox One clusterf@>* and the Sony vagueness.

Mmmm! The irony is delicious.

*Has nothing useful to say, so back handedly has a pop at the competitions fans*

On topic. While I don't consider E3 a competition, I will say that Microsoft have a lot of hard work to do to restore faith in the Xbox brand. It appears that there are very few die hard fans left that don't consider what they are doing a problem.

@Themisterphenix

"Lets wait to E3 to find the facts!"

A lot of the "lies and half truths" that people are angry about were taken straight from the Xbox One reveal and interviews with senior Microsoft employees directly afterwards. So if what was said is all lies then what hope have we got for getting facts at E3?

What baffles me the most is that all these publisher strategies to boost their stock prices are the very practices that are likely to make them bomb, and that there are board meetings consisting of so-called business experts, the majority of which are green lighting this crap.

It's pertinent to note that this subject matter seems to bring the gaming community together based on the pleasant civility of the comment thread so far. Something that the most damaging members of ...

Loved the Arkham games so far but having a hard time getting excited about this one.

No Rocksteady at the helm which is enough to get worried about but when they started talking multiplayer worry turned into disbelief. I going to have to wait and see, less likely to be a day one for me.

E3 is Microsoft's last chance, they promised to wow at the reveal and just brought deal breakers.

I'm already half off the other side of the fence, so Microsoft need to bring it at E3 and bring it big.

If neither Sony or Microsoft wow me at E3 then it's hello again PC for the foreseeable future.

Just no! Fanboyism has very little to do with it this time. There are a ton of Xbox fans on this site who are not happy with Microsoft right now.I'll guarantee if Sony attempt the same thing the backlash will be the same if not worse.

Now is not the time to be blase about these practices, if it's not confronted now it will become standard practice and will only escalate from there.

We are all aware that Microsoft have promised games, games, and more g...

Poor deluded soul, unable to wait for all the information to be available before making an educated decision!

Your history suggests that you are serious, and really should get some help.

Because Microsoft invent everything and never make bad decisions or tell lies remember? Silly!

While they are still flip-flopping on undesirable decisions, non of their stated information can be considered 100% accurate.

I think the question we want answering is if Kinect is disconnected (removed entirely, not just switched off) will the console still function?

It has always been a head scratcher for me, even more worrying is the excuse you get from the apologists.....You pay for cable tv and get ads. Incredible!

It's seems that the excuse given for anything questionable by Microsoft is nearly always a deflection to other companies doing the same thing.

I don't care what the brand is, if I disagree with their actions I always look for an alternative.

Amazing!!! So just because other corporations do it (who I might add are constantly under investigation) you are absolutely fine with it and welcome it from Microsoft? (Who have been caught before.) If the consumer can stand up and refuse to accept this kind of practice with the Xbox One it sends a clear message that it won't be tolerated anymore from anybody. You are never going to stop the government from collecting information but you can make it harder for anybody else.

It seems the extreme Xbox fanboys have gone full retard this week. As others have said, rather than see an issue with the Xbox One DRM and used game policy they'd prefer to sit back and suggest it's all ok because they believe Sony will do the same........ Just WOW!!!!

Real gamers don't want any company to take this route.

At this point I think it's far more serious than tin foil hattery, governments are starting to get involved.

Clearly the fee is publisher driven, no surprise at all from me. These are businesses who are greedy enough not to realise that the used game market drives sales of new games. Restrict the former and you affect the latter.

Microsoft have already lost my money unless they start making more consumer friendly noises and I won't decide on Sony until I know enough to make an informed decision. It's not impossible for Sony to ignore publisher wishes, Nintendo have stood str...
