I think most people would agree that it's not a problem, but don't think for one second that it's going to appease the SJW crowd..... They'll find something to scream about, that's what they do.

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand your point view, it concerns me and many others that buying these shady titles at full price is giving the thumbs up to these publishers to continue their abhorrent practices.
Sure, if they're fun I'll buy them, but never at full price. Money is the only language they understand.
I think the majority can agree that microtransactions are just about palatable if they don't affect gameplay, or are...
If the gaming industry goes down the toilet, it'll be partly due toa people like you who ignore the exploitative practices of EA and their like. I bet you'd be complaining then, when there were no decent games to play?
It's happened before, and we're heading for it happening again. It's time the gamers are listened to and not the suits in boardrooms pandering to investors.
If EA don't learn from this properly I'm sure they'd be one hell of a risk to the investors, and being the only people EA care about or genuinely listen to I'm going to assume the top brass haven't got an ounce of common sense between them.
Used games have always been available......Poor excuse!
Ea's development costs are lower than they were in 2009, games market themselves due to overwhelming exposure on the internet and I can't see online servers costing any more than they did in the past as EA just switch off old games to migrate in the new ones.....Poor excuse!
This is the problem we have with EA that needs to go away....No excuse!
Just my opinion, but I will address all three points.
1. Mobile market domination......3DS! nothing more needs to be said.
2. High cost, high spec. I'm sorry, but when the Vita price and specs were announced it was praised by the majority of gamers and media outlets. What became apparent to me shortly after release of the device was that the media undertook a witch hunt to downplay the previously accepted price and abilities to the point that the Vita had...
Yes, I do believe it deserved to be criticised. There's no hiding from the popular belief that the launch game was woefully short of what we were led to believe the game to be, and the story was so disjointed that it had to have been chopped up.
But, as others have said, it must have done something right for millions of gamers to have sunk many hours into it. It has to be said though that free to play mobile games can and have achieved the same level of addiction with mor...
Cliffy B had been a resident of his own backside in recent years and he's also a supporter of fleecing the customer so I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
Get off your high horse there chief, the disdain for Cliffy has very little to do with Xbox or Playstation. If you've been around games as long as some of your comment history suggest and not since June this year as your profile suggests then you would know he is a compulsive defender of the corporate shill and customer fleecing.
Not EA or Activision, that is all.
It's fair to say that this game won't be for everybody. But if it's true that it was developed for around $5m, then I'm suitably impressed.

There's still UFC3 and NFS Payback they're being quiet about, despite the same issues.

Respawn shut down after their next game guaranteed!
Typical Nintendo marketing ploy to keep the prices high, thought they might have grown out of this.
Another Saboteur would be welcome
I'm glad I'm not the only one that questions this.
It baffles me that Activision spend more on marketing than developing the games that need no marketing at all.
They could easily slash the marketing budget, introduce dedicated servers and still guarantee more sales.

Sorry Cliffy, I don't see you doing spectacularly well on Pc so I think it's you who should be hitting up Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
Has to be said I enjoyed it too, and I'll be giving this one a try....albeit with low expectations.
It's a shame because Hitman is perfect movie material.
