Yes, although expensive for a game console when it launched, The PS3 was the best Bluray player on the market(per dollar) and most other standalone Bluray players that did not perform as well.
$349 is the sweet spot IMO. It doesn't take a Harvard Business Grad to figure that out. If that price is selling the consoles then by all means, leave it there. The consumer has obviously voted that the value is acceptable for the product with their wallets. They should keep the train moving forward.
@ Death, sorry - I try not to chime in on these sorts of things because they get people heated. But, All the friends I used to play COD after work with bought at least 2 Xbox 360s due to RROD at a minimum. One guy in our group was on his 3rd console and it started acting flaky. Out of 6 of us, I was the only one who had his original console without RROD. I got lucky, but I also played mine the least since I played on my PS3 most of the other time with other titles.

Yes, but it may not be worth the cost being that you can get a regular 2.5" (external)slim 2TB drive around $80 on sale. A 500GB SSD costs around $250, a 1TB SSD costs anywhere from $350 and up. 2TB SSD are impossible - cost is crazy.
I used the Seagate 2TB Slim external. I paid $79.99, caught it on sale. Carefully removed it from the case, replaced my PS4 hdd and popped it into the case. Now I have a spare 500GB external and a 2TB PS4. Also, make sure the drive fits properly before you just order something. Make sure you backup all your gave saves to USB and / or online too.
For some crazy reason, many external encased 2.5" HDDs are cheaper than their naked caseless counterparts.

I've also noticed that it happens much more frequently on mine if I have something plugged into the front USB ports. Of course I still have the rubber piece on, so I may try removing that too. I have Captain Falcon and Lil Mac. Havent seen Pitt in store and really dont wanna drive 40 miles to try to snatch one up. Many places get zero characters shipped to them. This is BS.
@ Benji101 - I have bought one of every available character. I have witnessed like others that some characters never even ship to locations. Overprinting Mario characters by the thousands does not compensate for the complete absence of other Amiibos. To describe my entry, I freehanded the core of the pic, Wolverine and the main items using a new Wacom tablet I just got for Christmas. This was my first time using it, as you can see, it translates very well on what may have been accomplished on paper. It beat my expectations. Some of the border elements and background were composed of royalty free public pics online. I added some of the names that commented on this forum and a few others whose comments I read.
I agree with some of you in suggesting the 1st place winner in the art contest win the PS4 instead of it being random. I worked my butt off over the Christmas holiday to make this over two days that I could've been gaming! Lol.
But in the spirit of the contest and of the Holidays, I wish everyone luck and hope I get my comment randomly chosen for a PS4!

I scored the Halo bundle at Walmart on black friday for $299. It was $329 minus a $30 gift card that could be used immediately on the purchase. I already own AC Black Flag on PS4 and Unity is not a great game, so I think I scored the better deal even at $19 more.
They simply aren't making enough, and probably on purpose. I have found Zelda and Little Mac on the shelf in Target recently. Even saw Zelda in ToysRUs - forget Walmart, it is the worst. But some places get NONE of a certain character shipped, while others get a whole variety. So far, Target has the most variety, but limited quantity and shelf space. Yeah, I'm collecting them for Christmas gifts. Pretty much got the whole wave 1 set and found Princess Zelda and Lil Mac in the wild yesterday, they were advertised to be released this Friday, but I knew they would just be put out early. The shame is, there were only a few to start. So when people go out Friday to look for them, no Lil Mac or Zelda will be found.
Or turn the graphics into 8-bit to fix all the framerate issues in the game.
As much as I loved Black Flag, I'M so glad I didn't buy this game even at $30 recently on Amazon 2 days ago. I read the reviews and just couldn't waste my money. Too bad cause I'm a pretty big AC fan. I finally bought the Black Flag extra mission on sale for $8 on PSN from the week 2 deal. Seems like I made the right choice.
Hate to say it, but it doesn't matter what they do to this game because people will buy it anyways. Not saying that it is or will be, but if it was released as the worst shooter ever, it and its successor would still instantly sell millions. So happy jump and shooting.
