But I just wanted to reiterate.

In my formative years I think games greatly increased my problem solving skills as a lot of gaming puzzles are quite complex. Even situations in games that aren't puzzles, such as boss battles, force you to think strategically about the best way to address an issue. In my opinion, gaming teaches you skills in a fun and interesting way.

Well at least in that sense the writer addresses it instead of being optimistic.

"Denied Ops looks to create a futuristic style of fighting, but much of the game seems to be stuck in the past. The concept is great, but the lack of weapon management and structure coupled with uninspired visuals might turn some fans of shooters away with its generic style of gameplay."

It's also not too surprising. Rock Band really has the buzz now and if I'm not mistaken I thought their DLC stuff was cheaper.

There have been some misses, but for the most part a lot of the Star Wars games, at least that I've played, have been fairly solid. Maybe not great, but certainly a bit of fun.

That looks like an interesting creature. I wonder what role it plays in the story and how it ties into the Star Wars mythos.

Yeah, it was a pretty crappy situation, but it's still a really good game. I wasn't too happy about the visual downgrade it had during multiplayer though, but that's been a problem for quite a few games recently.

It should at least be another solid title for the PS3, but we'll see when it ships in March. Hard to tell until we see the final thing, as with just about everything.

While it's not a car chase, I will always remember and cherish the final scene in Halo where you're hightailing it out of the Pillar of Autumn. It's one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had. If felt so cinematic and epic for me.

Don't get me wrong, Microsoft has made mistakes but an intelligent individual can point out the mistakes of both Nintendo and Sony as well. In fact, Sony's handling of the PS3 out of the gate was absolutely terrible. The console is finally coming into its own and Sony is starting to make some smarter moves, but the Xbox 360 has not destroyed its customer relations.

Yes the RRODs are terrible and they should've acted sooner on it, but they did extend the warranties and are fixing ...

That is quite a sexy mock up. I would definitely pick that up, in fact I'm not waiting for official word. I was planning on (finally) putting up the money for a PS3 this year and that redesign would do it for me.

I remember Twisted Metal Black fondly. I had so much fun with that game, which is crazy for a car combat game. Usually the formula gets old, but I can still pop in Twisted Metal Black now and have a blast. It was the best PS2 game I had around the launch of the console.

Honestly, I really love this look. I have yet to pick up a DS, but I'm big on aesthetic and I really like this look so I might actually pick one up.

Because New York City is the greatest city in the United States, possibly even the world.

* New Yorker here :-P *

I think I might pick up 120GB model. I haven't picked up a PS3 yet and I might as well get just as much storage as I have on Xbox 360.

You guys know what I could go for? A new Star Wars Rogue Squadron.

Nintendo has talked about the third party support on the Wii being low, but they also said such a problem occurred when the DS first hit.

Does that mean exact correlations can be made and people could brush aside the fact in hopes that third parties will catch on? Third parties have been trying to publish on the Wii, the only problem is that nearly everything they publish with the exception of Zack and Wiki has been either mediocre or downright bad.

Then again the s...

I didn't see the other story. I did do a DUP search with my headline and it didn't come up with anything so I assumed it wasn't posted.
