And this game seems to have won a few fans here on N4G, that's not a surprise.

IMO neither really fit at all. TFU2 was LA trying to make a franchise from a one-off title that really wasn't meant to have a sequel.

Vader having a secret apprentice really doesn't fit the character. Especially during that time.

Though, this is SW EU which had very little policing beyond "movies can't be touched".

Drive Club? Realistic? Yes, do the entire sim racing community a favor, go play The Crew.

What? No. What a silly analogy. At least admit it.

We could put all the blame on Valve being greedy, but that ignores the consumer's part in all this. Valve wrote the code, we ultimately decide whether the option actually works. Seriously if no one buys the mods the system will fail. If it brings in less than the cost of having it, it'll fail. Valve's customer base can draw the line here.

We should probably admit that part of the anger toward this comes from the prospect that the consumer will make this successful...

Why a behind-closed-doors demo? Why not show that to everyone?

I get the "controlling the message" thing, but it seems kind of pointless. Gamers are going to buy the hell out of it regardless so maybe its time to be honest and transparent.

Well, a little less at first. Didn't have to wait for "space battle" DLC back then.

To be honest, the cancelled BF3 seemed to offer a much better experience. Going from space to the planet surface, stuff like that. I totally expected that stuff which was kind of the direction the first 2 were taking.

As for the single player, BF2 had a nice package deal. Kind of an "open" single-player thing with a little narrative attached to. Wasn...

No, I'm sure EA would never milk gamers with DLC.

Sure, just search Newegg.

Though I would only recommend a logitech G27. Most bang for your buck. Its around $250 and its got everything you need. Its great for any driving game.

They did tell the truth, but posters like yourself fail at reading.

So much wrong all in one comment, I tip my hat to you. Make that two comments, wow you are on a roll!

Someone get Valve on the line uth11 just said there aren't PC gamers! lol

Sorry, you don't buy an overpriced Mac for PC gaming, that's just silly.

People that want to get into PC gaming, still buy PCs. The rest, who have no inclination to game on PC, buy tablets.

Newegg expanding its business to include more than...

It's not a scam, but it sure is abused and greed is ultimately the motivation. Like making it stupid easy to purchase in-game stuff, was for the customer's benefit.

F2P is not "the" way forward. It "a" way for certain games and or developers, and even then its far from a superior product. Some do it right and many others don't.

Reality is they don't need encouragement, F2P apps release in the thousands per month, with a fe...

They're both really good. It would be a tough call if both were out at the same time.

Get ED now and SC later. Its great. Combat is a bit trickier in ED and the ships are no where near as detailed (visually) as SC's but they've got options.

1313 was little more than a tech demo. And considering that it was announced mere months before the sale to Disney, I find it hard to believe LucasArts really thought they were going to keep working on it.

They hadn't even finalized the actual characters, it was all just stand in stuff. That demo, was never going to be the final game, not by a long shot. That assumes LucasArts could have pulled its head out of its ass long enough to make an actual game. LucasArt was a pre...

Yea MS, for what its worth is trying to fix/maintain its relationship with windows users not throw it all away.

Windows' strength is in being good enough for most users, so the demand for a competitor stays pretty low. Add a silly subscription and demand for a competitor skyrockets. Then MS loses market share and has to be competitive while balancing all the other crap they do.

Windows 10 is free for that reason. Give a whole bunch of people a reason not...

Wait so, someone gets into an accident in a racing game and based on that you can determine the physics engine is broken? Wow, lol.

Armchair mental gymnastics at it finest.

Then again you think GT is the premiere racing sim, so that tells me all I need to know about your qualifications on the matter.

Portal and Half-Life are linked, story-wise. Pretty sure Aperture (Black Mesa competitor) was going to be featured in Episode 3. The Borealis was an Aperture science ship.

If this was L4D3 I might give up on HL3, but Portal 3 means a tiny chance the HL3 might actually happen.
