"This is another game where the PS3 version got held back because of the 360 hardware."
I don't think it's the case here since this game is NOT a port. Both versions have been worked on separately.

Except for the most part those games play at a ridiculously low framerate. Trust me, I tried playing PoP SoT recently on a 360 Slim and it was painful...
"If I secretly know my choice was a poor one, I need to connect to similar people who made the same decisions, and in turn find even more validation and more like minded people to help cure my bruised ego."
This is a very valid point. I have a feeling I could have become one of those if I had bought a Wii... And I'm not bashing the console here, just saying it wouldn't have met my expectations regarding the type of games I wanted to play.
Nintendo fanboys are the cutest. They will go to great lengths to defend their console of choice yet unlike the others they usually stay polite and don't start spewing venoms like some of the others. :)
"I’m gaming because I love my husband."
Hummph... While this can be viewed as a very selfless and loving thing to do, I'm wondering to what extent she actually likes gaming then. Because if she doesn't really like it, the fact that she picked it up as a hobby and is writing reviews is a bit perplexing. Or maybe I'm completely off track and I got the wrong impression from her article.
All I can say though, is that I completely understand ...
I agree... They could have picked at least a few select cities across the country. Montreal should have been considered, seeing as we have quite a few important developers here. :(
And here I was, hoping we'd be seeing real dicks. Oh well.
I never said I'd be playing them on my 360. I happen to own a PS3 as well. I'm pretty sure that an old version of PoP would have the same frame rate issues on a PS3.
I tried to play PoP SoT the other day on my new 360 Slim and the animations were painfully slow (very low framerate, I guess) so I can tell you that backward compatibility isn't what it's cracked up to be, even on the Xbox 360. An HD remake is definitely needed in order to make those games really enjoyable again.
Very true. It's all about balance. :)
I don't know about the "quiet" part... The other day when I put Alan Wake in the disc tray and the machine started reading it, it sounded like a freakin' airplane and it didn't get much better during gameplay. Didn't have that problem with the other games...
"I like males to look like males in games, and my females to look like females, something japan will never grasp."
Exactly! You know there's something wrong when a male protagonist is cosplayed by women and they actually pull it off... >_<
Seriously! LOL! It's a win-win situation for all PS3 owners who will or have decided to opt for the Move.
Tsk, tsk... Jealousy is an ugly thing, Mr. Greenberg.
I have both systems and I have NO intention of buying Kinect even if I can afford it. Stop talking for everyone else.
Those formal demands of cease and decease are a bit ridiculous. So long as no one is profiteering from those sites, they should be allowed to maintain them. If all companies did this with their IPs, there would be very few fan sites left, not to mention the news sites that use pictures and videos without the companies' express permission.
Now I wonder if Nintendo is going to do the same with all of its IPs.
Did someone piss in your cereal this morning? Chill out, dude...
I want the Steampunk, the Assassin's Creed and... the grill! LOL!
Yes!!! Not on launch day but I will definitely get the controller, the navigator and the Move Precision Shot (black gun) along with the PS Eye.
Pew, pew! :D
I'm going through Halo Reach in Campaign mode and I'm having a blast. That game is addictive... Since I'm new to the game I felt like I really needed to play it on my own, in SP mode. That being said, the SP mode doesn't seem to be very long and I'm definitely looking forward to co-op and/or MP.
Selling both versions separately would be very impractical, IMO, even if they were being sold for half the price of a full version. Also, I would doubt very much ...
