How do you know if the engine has a big weakness on ps3 if the first game to utilize it will be lost planet 2?

Yet both sides will claim graphical superiority, especially some of the fanboys on the 360 side, cuz you know, its always the case and its how systems should be judged, at least here at n4g
will take it i think. Not a hit against 360 but i dont think it will be a 360 exclusive game, and it might be hard for Uncharted 2 to grab it since MW2 is bound to be huge on both systems, should sell even better on both systems since there are more consoles around now
Seriously, it wasn't even a ps3 fanboy thing here, its on both systems, its from both sides, so please, lets not blame one side here ok? 7.5 is a fair score to me after playing it thru
perhaps you need to change the settings on your ps3 when playing older ps1 games, smoothing option on makes it look much better imo, but you'd be a fool to expect hd quality graphics.
Plus, thats just a small ass setback for having a hdtv
I love the maps ( a lot ) but i have been playing FF7 nonstop almost. It feels new to me, and im understanding the story a lot better, not that the whole thing was confusing then, but certain parts were for me when i played it 12 years ago
I think infamous looks better, picture shots and actual gameplay, but damn, did Prototype really deserve a 5.5? maybe my eyes are bad or something, at least a 6.5 or 7, oh wells.
Still, the game is a Really Great rental. Seriously, check it out if you can, buy it if you choose to, but thats money that can be put towards another game, like Uncharted 2, Halo odst, Batman AA (if it turns out great ) or anything else with more replay value
Why can't sandbox games have a great story like infamous (edit: i feel the need too add that this is just my opinion, but its shared by many )? Just because you are use to having sandbox games with crap story lines doesn't mean it should be the normal.
If you let someone use ur beta code, you cant play the game till at least 24 hours after the other user has played the game, so yeah...

Aldesco makes an extremely good point, its as if you totally bypassed any of the fanboyishness coming from the 360 camp yet the fanboys on the sony side seems to bother you much more, why is that? I thought all fanboys were annoying.

Its just his opinion which many others might share, my question to you is what makes an opinion carry more weight? As long as the person isn't showing blatant bias i don't see anything wrong with it.

the graphical difference between the first game and second are pretty damn apparent. If you can't see it, you should download the trailers on the ps3, or look at the footage with nate and chloe in the city, so much detail its insane, to say its the same is of course ur opinion though
Never said ps3 fanboys are saints now did I? Way to miss the point. you can argue with the view that often 360 fanboys are always the first to point out such and such multiplatform has a few more pixels or more draw distance or some other crap.
Comparing multiplats is never a good indicator of a system's power, its only an indicator of the dev's strength with that console for the project at hand.
