Looking back there are 2 games that really legitimized DLC as more then a cash grab, at least for me. The first was Fallout 3, which through the power of INTERNET changed the ending and added hours of new content to an already robust game. The second was Borderlands, which in true Borderlands fashion Used DLC to continue the main plot not once, but TWICE! Suck it Bethesda!"
"Its interesting that so much discourse in the discussion of video games and video game theory tends to separate “gameplay” from “story”- despite there being more and more games coming out that tend to bridge this perceived divide between allegedly disparate elements, the idea that gameplay and narrative must be segregated from one another still tends to be the prevailing thought."
Aside from the canyon and the river, the rest of Honest Hearts was dull and a lot of the characters were pretty straight forward.

I'm partial to the mass effect 2 DLC where more story was given within the main quest line. However it is only good if given before you beat the game.
