GoW 3 and Judgement were the last installments before the series went woke and soulless. I'm level 50 in GoW 3 and LOVE it's multiplayer to death. It's just so crispy.

Sure, the list itself sucks. But that click-saver table-of-contents, every list should have that.
Might as well list it as the One's top twenty as well since all it had for games was backward compatibility.
Great review! But I think the review justified an 8 instead of a 7. It just sounded better than the actual score. Me, I think it gets a 8.7. It's a great game but the campaign is the weakest, not BAD bad, but not as epic in scope as Gears 2 or as atmospheric as Gears 1. And the dialogue was as simple as ever. But if your looking for an amazing online experience this is the Gears game to get.
At the end of the day Gears of war 1 still had the best single player, to those who complained about it know that I blame you for what gears of war single player became.
Gears 1 was good. 2 not so much. 3 wasn't much better.
