A star-studded cast has been chosen to voice act for the Japanese version of Shadow of the Damned. Electronic Arts have hired actor Tadanobu Asano, who worked in Ichi the Killer and the recently-released Thor, and singer actress Chiaki Kuriyama, who played as O-Ren Ishii’s bodyguard Gogo Yubari in Kill Bill, to voice the two main characters (Garcia and his girlfriend Paula) in the game.
EA have also hired several well-known actors/actresses to voice the other characters of the game. One of these actors is Tasuya Gashuin who will voice Garcia’s talking gun Johnson, and Kotaro Yoshida who will voice Fleming, the demon who captures Paula at the beginning of the game.
CGM Writes: While we were over at PAX East, we were able to sit down with Goichi Suda (Suda51) and talk about the upcoming remaster of Shadows of the Damned
Game Rant talked to Suda51 about a potential sequel to Shadows of the Damned, and here's what he had to say.
Man, I’d love to get a sequel. I wish that’s was this was instead of a remaster, but it’s such a niche title. It won’t sell gamgbusters, unfortunately.
Electronic Arts has announced a number of server closures in the coming months, including Apex Mobile and the 2012 Syndicate reboot.
Syndicate's big saving grace will soon be erased for good. I'll give *some* credit to EA in keeping servers up for 10+ years.
Oh yeah, an actual cyberpunk game. I have fond memories of the old bullfrog Syndicates.
Syndicate was a fun and high quality late PS3 fps that got swallowed in the sea of fps at the time. It was short and it didn't innovate but it had good visuals and fun combat. Starbreeze i believe. Rip Torn and Rosario Dawson.
I am in love with Chiaki haha!
I forgot EA published this, they have their own branch in Japan, right? Usually Mikami and Suda51 games are left with the original English dub, right? Well maybe only for Mikami, since I'm sure No More Heroes has a Japanese dub too...
Anyways I don't know any of these people since they are actual actors. Though Tasuya Gashuin has been in a few 2 Ghibli films...
This would probably go down a treat o'er yonder.
