360 Magazine: Where Is Xbox 360′s Uncharted?

The problem is that MS sell 10m copies every Halo game. They're not going to give that up. Problem is 10m is only one fifth of Xbox owners. Halo caters to the minority. Me personally, I'd love to see more Uncharted-like experiences on Xbox.

Even if they would try to copy it, it would still be a bad copy. So the decision to not make a copy is the best.

I don't understand the point you are trying to make. Uncharted 2 sold 5m which is like a tenth of PS3 owners. Even games like Call of Duty and FIFA only cater to about a quarter of Xbox owners. What do you mean?

And besides, Tomb Raider is the 360s Uncharted. It's multiplatform but it's still a 360 game, and a fantastic-looking one at that.

Actually it really doesn't belong to 360 or ANY console, Tomb Raider was out in the PS1 days and earlier, before the Xbox series of systems. And yea like I i was saying it doesn't belong to Xbox 360, MS was just promoting it, it's a multi platform. Sony could've promoted it as well if they wanted but they chose a different route. Sony stuck with exclusives, seem as though MS stuck with multiplat games the whole drive, but yea that game doesn't belong to 360 and microsoft didn't necessarily helped create it. It belongs to PS3 360 AND PC, thing is Uncharted 3 is still better. It's popularity is at a high level and its an exclusive.. For Tomb Raider to be a multiplat, it doesn't seem to have much fame and nobody seems to care much about it. U3 will make GOTY if not, it'll be awarded some how. Great franchise Naughty Dog has.

Yeah it needs something but like Naughty Dog says the 360 put's games like uncharted off the 360 because of the disk space and hardware... I'm sick and tired of a new Halo and Gears coming out every year and tbh they're not the best... (Halo is nearly as milked as cod!) It's Gears of War 3 that has Dedicated Servers, not Uncharted 3. Don't believe me? Look it up. I would suggest you learn about a game before criticising it, Gears of War 3's Beta was the greatest multiplayer experience I've ever had, even Naughty Dog gave it a glowing review to Cliffy B. Also, Gears of War 3 features more variety, 4 Player Co-Op Campaign, Horde 2.0, Beast Mode and a huge catalogue o multiplayer modes.

Uncharted is so much more than Gears ever was and will be. Uncharted has so much more soul in it. It's so awesome to play a drake because he feels so realistic and everything. I don't how often I've played through Uncharted 2 and each time it was a blast. And I don't say anything about the technology behind, that's another chapter which changend a lot in gaming. I mean, Gears is a great game too, but the whole gameplay and style and story is limited. We did see everything in Gears 1. But Drake will go on and discover the entire world.

Dedicated servers are huge for multiplayer trust me.

You cant say that gears is same every year since its been much longer than a year from gears 2. It has also popularized (not invented but popularized) many different gameplay additions that uncharted has picked up themselves in Cover shooting and horde mode. Now beast mode and improved economy based tower defense horde 2.0 will help push new ideas for better coop multi.

Uncharted has also innovated lets not forget how they are changing the way single player games need to be done, with great popcorn flick set pieces, great motion/voice acting, many epic moments and gameplay tweaks to keep campaign fresh. It also fills the empty void indy jones left after 3rd movie.

Both are fantastic franchises, why cant we enjoy both?

I love that we've come full circle from Dude Raider vs Tomb Raider to Uncharted vs Uncharchick.

It's funny how, just by being a better game overall, Uncharted overcame that stigma to be a much more acclaimed franchise.

I think Tomb Raider is doing well to take cues from Uncharted, it definitely set the standard and, if it's a good game, it's a welcome addition to both consoles.

Why? A good game is a good game. Recognizing a great game on another console isn't offensive, its just professional. We're a 360 mag but we want the best for our system. Few would be daft enough to suggest Uncharted isn't a great series, and calling for something of similar quality on 360 is just common sense.

Some just prefer gears. Thats what i hear anyway. Same could be said about sonys version of gears to be fair. Nothing wrong with a slightly different experience as both games are NOT the same.

Just mentioning the fact that you'd want more games of a rivals type will lead to angry people explaining the reasons we're unreasonable for saying so.

This is not ms's model. Sony knew exclusives, true exclusives take years to develop and are hard to find/keep via 3rd parties so they built. Ms didnt. They closed and dispanded. The result is that they dont have the means to develop the y and the z on top of their x

After reading some of the views after e3 its obvious that there are 3 types of 360 gamers. Those that are fine with the slim pickings of core exclusives and do actually enjoy kinect. Those who are not and those that talk sh!t and find reasons why they're gunna love kinect core x y and z even though they used to scream, ' no games' hypocrites. Are 360-only owners missing on Uncharted? Pretty much. Just as much as PS3 owners are missing on Halo and Mario Galaxy. Just much as Wii owners are missing on Gears of War and God of War. just as much as PC owners are missing on Red Dead and L.A Noire.

Also, 360 Magazine is part of the Nowgamer network. It seems to me you're the one who's not reading the article (or even the bold headline) before commenting because the hint is pretty big there...

Uncharted isn't the only series Xbox 360 only players are missing on. Where is Microsofts answer to GoW? or LBP? I've played Gears and I think it's a great game but on the 360 there isn't that much variaty as on the PS3.
