Metro Last Light vs Crysis: '4A Engine Will Push PCs To The Max'

The sequel to the 2010 classical hit Metro 2033 has been announced and is named as Metro Last Light. The first game was known to be a graphical intensive game and the sequel will probably keep up the standard.

I ain't even gonna give Crysis 4A a 2nd look, after Crysis 2 failed me harder than a mountain.

Metro leading the way and I expect Metro Last Light to push my PC so hard that it explodes.

Metro: Last Light actually looks like it can give Crysis a run for its money... then again, considering that Crysis is four years old, maybe that's to be expected.

It would take years and tens of mil. $, to properly push todays PC technology. Remeber when Epic said they could done their Good Samaritan on one high end GPU? Now that's pushing to the max.

Man, I got a long wait before I'm able to buy this game for $5 off steam. Just finished Metro 2033 and it was awesome.

You can't "push PC's to the MAX". There is no "MAX" or some kind of imposed limit on the PC. All you need to do is to put a stronger graphics card or CPU, or add some RAM, and there you have it - the "MAX" has been moved up.

On the consoles it is a different story - once you tailor the game engine for a certain hardware, that's it. Example of this is when people tried to overclock or change the CPU on the first XBOX (replacing it's P3 @ 733MHz with with 1.4GHz CPU) or soldering additional RAM, games ran the same or at unplayable speeds (too fast), or didn't work at all.

Hope Metro: Last Light can deliver on 360 the lead engine designer said he had like 100 mb of memory left in some levels.

I played Metro on 360 and it was a great surprise with great atmosphere and game play but I feel that Crysis is on another level all together. The physics engine on Metro needs a lot of work as well as many other aspects.

Crysis 2 has some of the best graphics ever and in a league all their own...

Play Metro 2033 on the PC and you will see why its considered one of the best looking games out period.
On the Xbox360 it's lacking for the obvious reasons
