LocoRoco Cocoreccho: Eurogamer Review 9/10

This is a game about merrily exploring a world of secrets, many of which you only get access to the second or third time you play it, and replaying the same bits is anything but a chore. Even ignoring that, you can't really fault it for value, because, for GBP 1.99, the few hours of brilliant entertainment you get here are well worth it. A big, warming, chain reaction of delight that you'll want to revisit again and again.

wasn't this game rated something like 7 sometime back? what's with these freaking reviewers nowadays???

Bathyj6055d ago (Edited 6055d ago )

Gamespot gave it a crap score, but you know, thats gamespot.

If it was on XBL in would have been called bold, and innovative and brave for trying something different.

Reviews are becoming more and more irrevant.

nix6055d ago

i know... the reviewers have lost their credibility. In the last few months they have been badly exposed! Now i just go with my instinct!

GAMERS IT'S TIME TO REVIEW THE REVIEWERS! q:

Bathyj6055d ago

This is what gaming is all about.

You dont play for high scores, or acheivements or "OWNing" people online. You play because of how it makes you feel, and in this case its like a grinning idiot. Everythings just so damn cute and I love that music.

Theres nothing special about this game except how you feel when you play it. It reminds you of a time when a game only had to be fun to be a good game. Is anyone else here that old?

Keowrath6055d ago

You got an agree and bubbles from me there Bathyj. And yes sadly I am THAT old!

anh_duong6055d ago

i think ign or someone else gave it 6

nix6055d ago

IGN can't even decide collectively what the score for a game should be. UK, US and Australia keeps giving different scores. I've lost complete faith in them after HS.

like i've been saying, "NOT ALL GAMES NEED TO HAVE A MULTIPLAYER OR SHOULD BE LONG ENOUGH FOR YOUR BALLS TO ROT!"

Shadow Flare6055d ago

I used to see IGN as the only respectable review site out there. Now i know there as bad as the rest. They gave Heavenly Sword 7/10. Anyone who's played knows it's easily 9/10. It's an incredibly fantastic game, epic, emotionally, graphically incredible and has done things that no other game has ever done. It's the second game i've ever played that made me feel like i was playing an actual movie. The first being Metal Gear Solid 1.

And then IGN give Halo 3 9.5/10??? WTF? It's a clone of Halo 2 designed in 640p and has terrible story, bad graphics, jaggies and a lot more problems with it. Yet they give it 9.5.....whatever

Think for yourselves people, don't let reviewers think for you. If the game interests you, buy it. Had i listened to reviewers my whole life, i would have never played some of my favourite games

It is a great game, just like the PSP version. They're not the same, but they're both a lot of fun and the music is just awesome.

Five Strange But Fun PSN Games (RunDLC)

One of the best things about creating downloadable games is the creative freedom developers have to let their imaginations run wild. Publishers will agree to fund strange ideas at low risk, and in some cases, the designer is the publisher. This has led to some bizarre and outstanding titles across all platforms, but today, we’ll focus on PSN. Sony’s online service has plenty of whacky games that are lots of fun, including these gems.

Five great PlayStation Network games

Pocket-Lint writes: "Got a PS3 but can't afford to pay top whack for your games? Maybe you are just too lazy to get off the sofa. Well the good news is there are a cracking amount of titles available for download in the console's online market place PSN or PlayStation Network for those not into shortening everything. Here are five we think you should consider:"

agree with super stardust n wipeout. excluding disc games, i would at least consider pixel junk monsters, flower, savage moon, cuboid, or bowling.

my fav though goes to the forgotten game calling all cars....it was ign's game of the month for ps3 when it was released.

At this point, how in the hell do you narrow it down to just five?
