Torrence Davis of The BitBag writes, "One of the greatest accessories of the PS1/Sega Saturn generation was the light gun. It worked by triggering your tv to send a signal light back to the gun with information on the location you just targeted. It was simple, affordable tech that allowed us to enjoy games like Duck Hunt and Virtua Cop like we did in the arcades. With the advent of the LCD tv, all light gun technology was obsolesced. All of my games for PS1, PS2, Sega Saturn and Sega Dreamcast that used this technology would no longer work. Namco had to develop a special version of the tech to work with LCD’s and used this in the Guncon 3 with Time Crisis 4."
A group of surgeons made headlines after they managed to perform an endoscopic procedure on a pig located in Hong Kong by using PlayStation controllers. It involved the use of a PS5 DualSense controller as well as a PlayStation Move controller.
That's really cool. It's crazy something like that is possible with gaming controllers 1000's of miles away.
Air Conflicts: Secret Wars debuted in 2011, and later updated for modern consoles. However, it's the PlayStation 3 edition that stands out.
Immersed Gamer writes: "Let Me Solo Her is a legendary Elden Ring player who mastered one of the most infamous bosses to help his fellow tarnished via co-op. And for his service, he received an award from Namco Bandai to commemorate his 1,000th victory. The reward in question is a real, and extremely dope, custom-made sword.
Malenia is regarded as the hardest boss in Elden Ring, and the relentless Tarnished has defended literally thousands of hosts against this malice. Let Me Solo Her apparently passed 2,000 Malenia kills a while back, but it’s hard to measure the exact count he is at now. Bandai Namco sent the gift his way when he was at around 1,000 kills. But due to the nature of the object, it got stuck in customs for a while!"
Nice to see an healthy online behavior to be recognize by the dev teams.
But man.... How many hours did he spent playing Elden Ring? Not sure it's that healthy in real life 😂
But still kuddo to him :)
time crysis owns
seems like the move control fits rail shooters real good
light guns are the ultimate party games, pure fun even if you're not a shooter fan.
Hope Sega brings HotD: Overkill to Move.
It's my favorite Wii game by far, but it would be so much better in HD and with more precise controls.
party game with two or more controllers and gun attachments. Gosh I missed running out of coins in arcade so much! No such problems for me anymore come this fall.
