WorthPlaying writes: "Alpha Protocol tells the story of Michael Thorton, a government agent who works for a black ops program called Alpha Protocol. Michael is a newcomer to Alpha Protocol and is sent to a mission in Saudi Arabia to hunt down stolen missiles. Once there, he discovers that the "stolen" missiles were actually sold to terrorists in a plot by Halbech, an American weapons dealer, to start a new Cold War. They also have the Alpha Protocol program on their side and have declared Thorton as a rogue agent. Now Thorton has to figure out some way to prevent Halbech from raising international tensions and starting a global war before all of mankind is pushed to the brink of annihilation. Fortunately, he has moles inside Alpha Protocol and gets help from some of the most deadly and skilled people in the world, ranging from Saudi terrorists to Moscow weapons dealers."
Alpha Protocol has sneaked its way back onto Steam as part of its Summer Sale, much to the surprise of a few loyal fans.
One of the few 7th gen game that I'll full heartedly support for a remake.
Its a very unique RPG and deserves its faults fixed the 2nd time.
Still have a physical copy for my PS3. Clunky at times but I had a lot of fun with it back in the day.
Cultured Vultures: In the spirit of preserving some kind of history of this industry, we’ve decided to list some of the best games that you just simply can’t get hold of digitally at the minute.
I just started playing Spec op. I've had it for years on steam and forgot about it. Such a good game.
Honorable mention to the excellent Driveclub, one of the best racing games of all-time and one of my favourite games ever.
Outrun Online Arcade, Sega Rally Online Arcade, After Burner Climax... all good stuff. I keep my 360 hooked up to play these as well as the TMNT games that were also delisted.
wow...I have all of them except the Nintendo ones either in physical or digital version.
Also..Deadpool the Game is missing on that list.
Many overlooked RPGs lie dormant in the catalogues of gaming, but players can pick up their swords and shields with these amazing JRPG hidden gems!
but i'm enjoying the game so far. Just got past Saudi & am into Russia. So far it does seem as if your choice of dialog & alliances will change the way it plays out. At todays prices, I'll sacrifice other things for good replay value.
