New HD Mass Effect Footage

sweet gameplay.. one thing, I don't think this will ever happen in any game, well I hope it does cuz it annoys the crap out of me, when will the voice actually match the moving mouth of a character, you know actually look like the guy is talking instead of a mannequin with a voice over, sorry for the rant

It will take a hell of alot of time; on console probably twice as powerful than the PS3 and 360 to get it right(maybe?).

Half Life 2 has pretty damn good voice match move making on the fly and Crysis looks like it has even better. The 360 and PS3 can do accurate VMM, it's just up to the developers to properly implement it.

Anyway, This game looks AMAZING. Now I really want it.

Anyway, that's just the default Commander.
You can change the character's look, genre, and (maybe) name. (On Kotor you could pick from a broad range of names.)
The one they show in the promos is just the default for te soldier class character. The one you'll play will likely look different.
Unless you really really like Oded Fehr. Or whoever. ;-)

The Unreal Engine is a beast, I just would of thought Microsoft had learnt it's lesson by now that they have to invest in games in all different genre's, obviously to appeal to a broader audience, alot of 3rd party publishers are helping them in this this way but it's still a narrow path.

The main character is pretty detailed...not as much as "that" screenshot...but still very impressive. Be nice to see an actual HD video.

Bladestar I said "Be nice to see an actual HD video." I'm bloody impressed by this and Bioshock and Too Human, oh and Alan Wake. So yes I'd like to see an HD video.

You would be saying the samething if anybody would be saying that graphics for Metal Gear 4 base on a video posted on youtube. But than again this is a 360 and it will never be good enought.. right?

Check out the vid again and look at the walls you'll see that the vid suffers from pixelation in a major way how can you see detail on the surfaces when the detail is scrabled, dancing around being blurry at the same time. I knew this post was an attempt to make the game look bad i was waiting for you to make a comment on the vid quality and try and pass if off as what the game will look like. I was wondering why you were going into other threads complaining that no one was going into this thread. those pics at least the first two were High rez.

Dam you Deep Brown! J/K i was playing, You probably posted this because it was a good story, theres no need to show off the graphics as a selling point i think they're still tweaking sh8t. Its why we dont see too many Too Human, Halo3, Lost Odyessy and Forza 2 pics what would be the point?, the games are so hyped they dont need the graphics to keep folks intrested.

Too Human sounds to be shaping up very nicely..the story sounds spot on...very interesting. Shame I won't be able to play it.

This game looks so amazing. Btw, for the people higher up, the technology for voice matching is out there, video games just dont have the good code. Also im pretty sure this is coming out in a few months, so the rumours say.
