Do you really want to play Lord of the Rings Online on your console?

I would if its the best mmo on the console market at the time, since I don't play on PCs. I love the depth of PC games, I just hate playing games on a PC. I've been playing FFXI lately just waiting for a new mmo for consoles.

Ya i would love it to be on my console. But not the MMO price tag. If its free, than i am all over it, if not then i pass.

I have FF XI for the 360 but I will not pay live fees and the fees for playing it. I know several WOW players that pay every month but it isn't my cup of tea.

I would, because I've always enjoyed playing some MMOs on console (though the only one I have tried was XI. It was still pretty good for what it was on the console). Though I certainly might try this one, only because I've gotten so used to using my controller now that it feels awkward whenever I try to return the wasd controls of the keyboard as well as the mouse for certain MMO games.

Yes. I quit playing LotRO because the damn mouse is inescapable. It will let you map EVERY button to a controller, but you can't ditch the damn mouse. Let me use my D-Pad to select targets and my right stick to control my camera.. what's so tough?

i would so get it on ps3 if you could play with pc ppl and that's not really asking much since agency is doing that i believe.

i already have a lifetime membership and would love to see this game on really good graphics.

LOTRO, from my understanding, is like WoW, with the great depth of buttons and freedom of control schemes, and mods and whatnot. So, coming to this discussion, I'm coming from my extensive knowledge with WoW. I want to be able to map my control scheme however I want, which a lot of 360 games don't allow, i doubt mods are going to happen(at least not on the 360.), or at the very least you'd have to payyy for them, and that's a nogo. And idk, doing a PORT of a PC MMORPG that gives you freedom and a lot of buttons, to a console, is just a horrible horrible idea. Like some people above were saying, MMOs might work if it's designed with the console in mind, but not this shiznit.

I won't be sacrificing the malleability of my PC for what will probably be a force fed port of an established MMO.

and i think its childess and not a very good one. consider this: wow has the largest subscription rate of all mmo's and lotr is no slouch with its own strong following. i myself have played both and its my "opinion" that both are really good games but i would much rather sit on my couch, holding a controller while balancing a beer between my legs and play a mmorpg from my console preferably my ps3 on my 60" with my surround system cranked up. sony its time to get the eqoa team back together for one more game!
