PS5 got a nice fat boost in EU sales. The gap is back to 5m between PS5 / Series.

7 million no?

Pretty sure if supplies pick up the gap will keep getting wider. But that is a big if.

darthv72729d ago

Oh no doubt. Looking back at the same time last gen there was a 10m gap between PS4 / XBO. To see these two at 5m should make for a better competitive gen. Nothing like PS3 / 360 but def closer than PS4 / XBO.

Is it a good thing if the gap grows to 7?

They sell everything they produce, Europe got a big shipment and therefore it jumped in sales!

MS needs to refresh Series S with a 1TB SSD. $299 is a great price and with only a few hiccups the console has been a much more capable alternative than I expected, but 512 GB is just too small for a lot of people. I mean if you get it and install MCC, that's probably a third of your space gone already.

An S with 12gb of RAM would be an even better entry level system. The current one is great but I def can see that lack of RAM is more detrimental than SSD space. Especially since anyone can add an expansion card to get more.

Rumor has it that there will be a revision to both later this year. So we can likely expect a 1tb S and a 2tb X before the end of the year. Also there should be another choice for expansion cards soon from WD.

I'd love to see some competition with the expansion cards.

I can see down the line having a slim model that's cheaper and then a version with double the storage at the current price. A better idea for a refresh is to include a disc drive. A cheaper console is usually bought by people on a budget and physical media usually has better deals.

Review - Sker Ritual (Xbox Series X) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Aaron Price: "Overall, Sker Ritual was a lot more of what I wanted and way more than I could have expected from it. Is this going to be a Call of Duty: Zombies killer? Maybe not as of now, but it’s clearly a really good step in the right direction, as that series simply doesn’t care about having to improve anymore. Even though it’s completely different from its predecessor, Sker Ritual is a pleasant surprise, a well-polished game, and something I definitely plan to continue returning to often, especially if there are any big content updates in the future."
