The term “Soulslike” has become ridiculously diluted. I have seen it used for games just because they are difficult.
Nioh 1+2 imo are the best souls clone. Love the melee combat and ki system, really hoping team ninja doesn't abandon the IP and continue with a new title, hell just give us your take on the western fantasy setting for a new nioh game.
Humble Bundle has a new bundle packed with a bunch of Soulslike games. It has games like Mortal Shell, Salt and Sanctuary, and more. As always, a percentage of profits from the bundle go to charity.
I do hope they release some dlc and variegate the environments. Just too many open-ended areas that lack creativity or intrigue. How about a castle or dilapidated town or village?
