Lol really, a 9/10? Wide range of abilities? Did you absolutely love driving on a highway for 15 minutes dodging the same platforms and jumping the same jumps over and over again? High level gaming i guess.. 9/10.... insane

No way could I give this a game a 9/10 when it doesn't even have online co-op. This is a Microsoft backed game. If indie games like Streets of Rage 4, Knights and Bikes, etc can have online co-op then there is no excuse for a Xbox first party title to launch without it.

It doesnt need online co-op... it is meant to be a throwback to couch co-op and its really fun that way. cuphead didnt have online co-op and that one is also fun played with a buddy locally. I wouldnt give it a 9 but I wouldnt knock it for not having online either. Its a very fun solid game that is worthy of an 8. Its just.... fun

Streets of Rage 4 was a throwback to couch co-op too. That didn't stop it from getting with the times and adding online co-op especially given the current world situation where people can't play together locally as easily. This is a Microsoft funded game so it should've had it.

The omission of an online co-op is truly baffling! I get that they might aim for creating a couch-op setting and atmosphere, as a nod to the old days, but it still doesn´t justify removing such a basic modern necessity. I agree completely, a 9/10 is too generous for such a glaring omission.

Hey TGG - on another topic, sorry to reach out to you like this. But i was wondering if you could help me out, i just need one more approval on my Atomicrops review. You seem to be somewhat of a head honcho around here. I would appreciate greatly if you could take a quick look at it, and see if it´s up to snuff. I really want to get my review out there - because it is such a hidden gem!

It´s okay if you don´t have time, or don´t feel like doing it because i asked in comments, i understand completely! But thanks regardless!

The 7 Best Female Antagonists in Video Games: Unveiling the Femme Fatales

You need a reason to fight the good fight. In video games, some of the best antagonists have been female perpetrators.

One of the most memorable fights I ever played. I almost didn't want to pull the trigger at the end.

I personally think there's better on gamepass then what was listed. State of decay imo is better then anything listed. Recore seemed alright for what I played on there also.

Is Recore any better to play now?

Concertoine625d ago

Yeah, especially on One X or Series X. It kinda feels like a PS2 platformer, but in a good way. I liked it.

KillBill626d ago

Odd that he specified 'Game Pass Ultimate' instead of just 'Game Pass' just so he could include a relatively weak choice comparably in 'Alice: Madness Returns' which is available with EA Play. SoD was a far better overlooked game to have listed.

Crows90625d ago (Edited 625d ago )

Dont know why they keep listing ultimate. Gamepass is the better value....but the reason I think is that ultimate includes online gwg.

MadLad625d ago

I mean, as someone who games both on PC and Xbox, Ultimate makes a whole lot of sense. There's console exclusives and PC exclusives. And, at the end of the day, EA Play is still a perk of having Ultimate. When I open Gamepass, the EA Play catalogue is sitting right there for me. It's as much part of Gamepass as any other title I'm looking at, right?

Arcade1Up Opens Preorders for Killer Instinct PRO Series Arcade Cabinet (with Battletoads)

"Arcade1Up has released numerous 3/4-scale arcade cabinets over the years, but even the coolest cabinets only feature 17-inch monitors. That's what makes the announcement of the Killer Instinct PRO Series Arcade Cabinet so exciting. The Pro cabinet includes a 19-inch screen, SuzoHapp stick and buttons, and improved speakers. It will feature not just both Killer Instinct arcade games, but also the arcade, NES, and Genesis versions of Battletoads!" says Co-Optimus.
