It's nice but I don't see why it's being reviewed so positively. You run em' down a road and hop around, fight horrible boss battles and then after doing this for a series of levels, beat the game.
It's cute, but it shouldn't be held to the same regard as an indie game, and certainly not reviewed so highly vs current modern games.. Mobile, maybe.
..If Skyrim/Witcher 3/Zelda get 9+/10 this game should get a 2. And that's being super nice about it.
We should just stop reviewing video games if they're just going to be reviewed in their own protective bubble. Because this game isn't even close to as good as what's available today.
