TimeSplitters Rewind Still In Development, Will Be Free To All At Launch

After a few months of silence The TimeSplitters Rewind team have released an update on progress and have confirmed that the game will be free to all.

Most importantly, will it have the awesome level maker that Future Perfect had? I made some awesome levels of my own in that.

My friends didn't like it because I had this habit of putting death pits in my levels and they kept falling in. Too bad for them.

They don't own the IP so I would think that if they did try to make money off this then Crytek would be slapping them with a C&D

The main reason I hope they go under. Shame about the developers who don't have a say in what they make, but you can't just sit on something as great as Timesplitters, be desperate for cash, and then not release Timesplitters.

By support if you mean just licensing costs thats not much support.

When people think support they think dev work and resources such as money.
Their support is simply in the form of licensing and non anti-support. Which means theyre simply not shutting it down

I would laugh if these guys do most of the work for free making this PC version and then Crytek takes it, ports it to console, and sells it for 100% profit.

No they can't make any profit on it, as they don't own the IP.

They're have the blessing off Crytek to develop and release it, but nothing else.

Thats a pretty good idea. They can just make money from the hardware like the gun you need for it and anyone who wants to see if it's fun just downloads the game first playing with controller.
