Seriously, it's so annoying that everyone is comparing T7 and Injustice 2. Both are really fun games, both have widely unbalanced characters​ and both are worth the purchase imo.
But, apparently people neglect one little fact here: while both are good fighters, they shouldn't be compared as "my lollipop is best, no my lollipop is best".
If anything, injustice can be compared to street fighter and T7 to DoA.
One is occupying 2D space and the other 3D space ffs.

Isn't that what most people do? Compair games in the same genre against each other? It's been done since the dawn of Gaming. Yes, but both are still a fighting game.

Don't get me wrong, I do think that you should make comparisons between games, as to cross-reference qualities, but while they are both fighters, the fundamental gameplay mechanics are vastly different.

I.e. comparing Dark souls to Witcher 3. Both are open world action rpg's but they aren't really comparable in terms of gameplay mechs :)

Yep, those games shouldn't be compared. Both are excellent fighters.
I do not agree with one thing though. Tekken is the most balanced fighter ever created IMO. One of the few games where button masher won't win with someone who understands fighting mechanics. It's easy to mistake unbalance with steep learning curve. Any character can win against any character if you know what you're doing.

When I sat unbalanced, it's typically when new characters get introduced. I know what you're saying, but Namco does have a history adding a weird power/speed/reach ratio to new characters.
It does feel as if they have done a pretty good job this time around though. Although I haven't tried Shaheen yet ^^

Personally I think that DoA is the most balanced fighter out there, but that game is a bit more niche than Tekken :P

Injustice has pretty hardcore cheese moves, the gear system in ranked and the power balance between some character attacks aren't optimized. I.e. flash can keep an insane juggle, dark Adam's mobility Vs damage output is off the charts, deadshot/darkseid are a zoners dream.

Tekken has always had an imbalance in characters introduced, as of now in T7, Claudio is ridiculous to play with. His reach/speed parameters, along with easily spammable down-top combos are op. In 6, the Egyptian lady, in 5, Steve.

I do love both games though, they are fun ^^

Claudio is a c tier character. and Zafina was an f tier character man. I guess new characters are hard to adjust to for some people. These two are not hard to deal with at all. That's my personal opinion but it also helps that pro players also think similarly.

I won't comment on Injustice though because i don't plan to dedicate much time into playing that game.

Keep in mind that when a c tier character can still get to the top 8 in a pro tournament that it means that the game is super balanced and we've seen that already from Tekken 7 so I'm happy :)

I love it too, it's so much fun ^^
But I'm not even shitting you, I've been steamrolling my friends with Claudio and I'm not even that good with him. And we're still talking about people who has been playing Tekken since the PS1 :)
He does have a shitty health pool though

I have just played Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, so I can't really say if Tekken 7 = "the King of fighters" just yet.

According to Sharn, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 is pretty darn good as well ;) But he still prefers Tekken 7 even more.
